Total : 4800 gold

Currently, the only item with evasion is butterfly which is more fit for agility hero.

While evasion is needed for tankers also which is mostly STR especially for heroes such as axe (spin though miss)

So, I've think this item. This item will grant evasion and armor which is useful for tanking heroes.

Note : Only base attributes are calculated

This simply is cool. This + hood and your a cool tank.
Also, this on centaur would give you nice damage and nice tank abilities.

There is no way to comment this item. This is GOOD and quite CHEAP. We need more tank items, what we have now?
Heart, blade mail.. This is balanced.

I like it. I don't really like the buildup as it's too expensive to be really effective but the idea is great. I would rather settle it in the price range of a blademail.

Pricey but have a potential but I suggest change the mithril hammer because it is overuse(bkb,maelstrom,stygian). I suggest reduce or increase the cost by replacing mithril hammer with javelin/claymore/2 X gauntlet of str/circlet/poor man shield/blade mail/plate mail. Then balance the stats and ability and finally change the name.

Well, this is much more better than blademail since blademail only last 5 seconds while this last 8 seconds (with shorter cooldown). Also this with Evasion + armor it has in its stats, it's active will be much more than that.

Blademail is very situational but this much lesser. Also I wants to use evasion on tanking heroes ^^

Hmm... I was going to use other items for it but I think it will be silly to have mithril armor without mithril. I think I'll need to change the name also...

Just a quick question here, whats the difference between parrying and regular evasion? its kind of the same effect right? I mean, you can achieve the same effect by just buying another mithril armor for that matter right?
Cause from what I understand when you activate this skill you get a sort of another 30% of evasion aside from the evasion you already have, so its like buying another one of those right?
Anyway I kind of think STR shouldent be evading anything, they should just buff up and TANK like they are supposed to. Having a 4000-5000 hp centaur evading every 3rd hit it kind of imba isnt it?

Its a block, not evasion.

Parry = block with your weapon.

Parry is worse than evasion (in this suggestion).

Well, a weapon with PARRY could be cool, like passive +15%.. etc.

Few thoughts:

- is the item called Mithril Armor or Mithril Hammer ? The first post says the latter...
- an armor gives you parry...? Doesn't make sense...
- also, evade=parry... ok, I get the advantage, you have only 50% ASPD, but 60% evasion, but why make up the whole idea of parrying, when you could just say it gives you additional evasion
- btw this obviously shouldn't stack with itself or other evasion items...

evasion doesn't stack with other evasion items.
This would give a theoretical 51% evasion for 8 seconds. But Parrying is worse than evasion since buff placer will still have an effect (stun, slow).
I still have a problem with the amount of gold the tank has to farm to get the item. I would prefer an item without talisman of evasion without 30% evasion and parrying as active.

At first look i almost said: COOL! i was just gonna say it needs to be a bit more expensive like around 4.5k-5k.

After a second thought... what if u r using troll for example or any other hero with miss or pseudoevasion?
30% evasion+30% parry+10-75% miss chance depending on skill?
Imagine this on troll, riki, faceless or even worse pandaren(u will get 12.25% chance to actually hit!)

I will have to agree with lezley, remake the item somehow to remove the evasion. In positive note i really liked the concept.

Maybe this could be an alternative to the Butterfly. Forget the parry... When you want such a good evasion, what will you get? Butterfly. What do you need for Butterfly? Eaglehorn. What use does Eaglehorn have for STR or INT heroes...? Yeah, little to none.
This could give some other bonuses that could even a non-AGI hero use, along with the evasion.

Maybe it could work like the Power Treads...? Talisman of Evasion + Plate Mail + one of +10 stat items = Mithril Armor. Also switchable like Power Treads. Hmm...?
