Default [GUIDE] All about 1.24d

just downloaded the latest patch, when i installed it and everything went smooth but when i start to play, i cant load any map... any map i download even the new ai map wont load? how do i handle this? pls mail me at jamesdlr1884@gmail.com for any suggestion

The latest patch has a new way to code maps, check first if the map creator released a new version of that map.

For DotA maps, get the latest versions and it'll work: Official DotA Allstars : Downloads and http://www.playdota.com/forums/22762/dota-ai-bmp/

Ok, so i just downloaded 1.24b but i'm having a problem... when i first downloaded it, it said 1.24 at the bottom corner, but after, when i tried to start a 6.27b game and it wasn't opening, i realised it went back to saying 1.20... i don't know why... help?!?!?!?

What are the numbers shown at the bottom right corner at this moment? 1.24.1.6374?

If the Warcraft 3 shows different version numbers, download the full 1.24b patch again. Download it from the link on the first post here.

naw, when i downloaded it the first time, it said that it was 1.24.1.6374, then somehow went back to saying 1.20. everytime i tried to do it again, it says that the version i have is already 1.24.1.6374 even tho it reads 1.20 in the corner and the AI 6.27 isn't working...

guys help me... i downloaded the resgistery fix. but the file logo shows internet explorer logo. i double clicked it. nothing seem to happen! help!

Download this: Download 7-Zip from SourceForge.net

and then extract it wherever you want.

Great Guide!

I finally got a WVS that can switch me from 1.20e->1.21->1.22->1.24b

It turns out it was easier than i expected to set up.

LoL. Why would you switch, when 6.63 ONLY works on 1.24b. Are you playing 6.61c still?

Philippines, baby.

My compadres use 1.20e, and yes I play 6.61c still, haha. But I now use 1.24b, there are some Garena rooms that use it, pretty awesome.

I EXTRACT it already. fixed, went in the game n quit the game.. i tried upgrading to 1.24 i doulble click.. it came out dis error...

2. Delete folder which is left behind
3. Install Warcraft 3
4. Install Frozen Throne

6. Apply patch
