Default TRA-The Really Atrocious Lineup.

I would bane is one of the strongest heroes in dota, however rhastan and lion are not the "strongest" it's just a great thing to know your opponent won't have them. Like NA (especially before the mana burn change). I prefer to see the other heroes like PotM and ES as some of the strongest heroes because, unlike shackles, the difference between a good and bad fissure/arrow is huge. Plus Rhasta and Bane got nerfed (Wards cd and fiend's grip mana cost) in the recent patch so I don't see how they are any better than before.

So is it Lion, Rhasta, Bane, (insert 2 heroes here) = winning team?

Hence two things happen when you encounter any of the trio - you can’t do anything to retaliate, and your as* gets burned quickly. Then the “pros” jump in for the last hit. And you think those heroes are “pro”? Indeed!

If the skill level of both teams is same, he ( the writer of that ) thinks yes.

Europeans don't just copy. In fact, they do make strategies themselves as well.
Sure, there were a few heroes like Enchantress, Panda, which europeans didn't approve of at the start, but gradually begin using them after numerous encounters, and seeing their power, if played in a specific manner.
But, you can also look at the recent Alchemist plays, and bans made on him, when many considered Alchemist to be vastly underpowered, and weak.

So do we actually have a chance to see someone in competitions pick Sniper/Bone Clinkz and somehow Sniper/Bone eventually becomes pick/ban material?

We actually see sniper sometimes and Bone too. Sniper has been picked a lot from Loda and not only, while Bone was constantly picked from a team that I dont remember. And it worked out not that bad. Still they aren't in the top list ofc, there are so many better skillsets then their.
