So we nerf Phase Boots, an imbalanced item, only to give give support casters an even BETTER MS and Armour item? Yes.... surely THIS will be balanced. LoL.

Armour was taken off Phase for a reason.

Armour was taken off Phase for a reason.

The armor wasn't imbalanced, it was removed due to making it to bulky for tanks...
Also, i think we have seen loads of boots with RoB as an main part, and i gotta say i like it more every time. T-up for concept.

IceFrog tried to change the overused Phase Boots by removing the armor bonus...the Wizard Boots wont be overused, because they only give mana/armor oriented items a bonus

Phase Boots give now damage + Phase, which is better then armor+regen on some heroes.

Looks like someone had a view on my idea and created another one.. It's the same concept: 4-Mage Boots. My idea as you said has regeneration instead of high armor, yes it has because isn't only for mages, supporters get nothing from this last boot made? So 'cuz this I decided to make a 4-Mage/Support that I think it's much better than this Wizard Boots worn by Coperfield himself O.o (Coperfield + Dota? huh). I dunno if you get this idea reading my post.. but why always has somebody that copies the ideas of the others? Create your own without having a base in the one of somebody. I am not accusing you but this is very leery. -.-

If you liked or want some changes just ask there and don't copy! Numbers/Recipes can be changed. Let's focus in only one or this gona be a waste like suggest a hero here(Chance to get implemented.. 0,000001%).

Okay... one thing: The only things our boots have in common is the Ring of Basilius in the recipe. Thats it.
So you got the rights on RoB? And you are the only one who is allowed to make a new item with them?

Btw. I got the idea of this item while I played DotA. I couldn't decide which boots I should buy (Treads or Phase) ... and than I got the idea of Int/Support Boots.

After this I reied to think of the concept of the Boots.
So I added the armor of the old Phase Boots and give him mana regeneration so its more int/support oriented than the old Phase Boots.

And to the copperfield part:

RoH:
A shiny ring found beneath a fat halfling's corpse.

Talisman of Evasion:
Can't touch this!

Boots of ELvenskin:
A pair of boots often used for moonwalking

etc...

My biggest gripe is the fact that they don't really seem like wizard boots. Ring of basilius - well, vlads uses ring of basilius in its recipe as well, and it's hardly a "wizard" item.. this item just isn't very flavorful at all. Boots of travel, for instance, seem way more wizardlike than these.

Though gameplay wise, they seem decent enough.

Is this better...? Its hard with Buckler, but I removed the active ability and added it to the armor aura of basilius.

This would be a really good option for Int Heroes to have the extra hint of mana regen and armor. But Phase Boots are soo effective coz of Phase and I'd really hate to lose that. I kinda like this but if I were playing a Hero and go for an item, I'd make Phase Boots and RoB rather than Wizard's Boots!

phase boots are far from mage boots anymore, actually as i said before only BoT can somewhat be used by mages, and its kinda expensive considering most mages are support and not carry, so they cant farm that well either.

Dude, phase were nerfed because of armor.

This cost the same as old phase.

Now you gain +9 armor for the same price.. and nearby allies gain +5.

give 9 armor??? doesn't it too high? like the others said, boots with armor too overpower for some (a lot of) heroes.. i prefer boots with +str and manareg... but dunno if this idea is good or not..
