Random blah I cook up as I go through living life as part of the /AMD/ community.
Manual Vocaloid + AutoTune + Nyan Cat + x = y!
V2 UPDATE!

Give me 8-bit Yune, and I'll change the cover! |
This is my take on the Japanese "Manual Vocaloid" technique, and also my first-ever experiment using "that darn thing" called AutoTune.
The source of all the nyaning is none other than Ikoku's very own PV:
(seek to 0:35~0:38)
So basically I took a single "nya" from the sequence, made short and long versions, then duplicated it endless times on Audition.
For notation, I used the piano cover by Zorsy on YouTube, with assistance by MuseScore (I transcripted the sheet into there) so I can tell what damn notes should I play. The nya's then are pitch-shifted on AutoTune according to the notes on the sheet.
This is still on the v0, mind you; I still have to patch up the parts where Yune's voice becomes quite nasal or something. If you can help me with that it'll be great.
So here, take it, listen to it, comment about it, and share it!
UPDATE: I looked over the project again and found out that some of the nya's are off-tune for a little bit (precisely, a semitone), so I went ahead and fixed it. Anybody new to this or want the fix should download the v2 instead.

Making french/jap version: IMPOSSIBRU. Unless I have some synths/samples here and a firm knowledge on MIDI and stuff. Or if someone can give me an off-vocal of that then why not?
vid: I have an idea cooked up in my brain for a while now, but I'll /try/ to use your sugg
And why the 400+ views on the files I though it'll be less since you are just the ones who I think will be viewing this blog lol.Posted 11-18-2011 at 06:00 AM by MSD.Tenshi

I'm still new to AutoTune, so I can't quite make it do what I want it to do.
