Venomancer - Lesale Deathbringer
This is from a solo mid stand point. Getting early ult with veno has proved to be quite effective time and time again for my team, and Veno himself is not a shabby solo at all.
My aim with him is roaming / ganking early to mid game with runewhoring, while around the mid to late portion of the game be a semi carry / DPS.
Skill Build:
PS - VG - VG - PS - VG - ULT - VG - PS - PS - Stats - ULT - Stats - Stats - Stats - Stats- ULT - Stats - Stats - Stats - Stats - Stats - Ward - Ward - Ward - Ward

From very start - Bottle

SnY is good, I just prefer Loth's first as an escape mech and for initiating team battles or ganks with the added ability to better position a well timed poison nova from being invisible. Plus the added escape mech is great.
Crystali's is actually one of my choices for DpS instead of MkB sometimes, both are fine really. And when it comes to scepter that's just a different build on him. Scepter is good on Veno, the lowered cooldown can be quite helpful.Posted 08-24-2009 at 09:19 AM by MurazorOFAngmar

[COLOR="LemonChiffon"]I agree I think he is one of those few heroes that GREATLY benefits form the changes to Scepter because the ult dmg is ungodly over 1k DoT in 12 secs I break down tanks like nobody's business on that note, what do you think of Veno as an Anti Str hero? I know Naix and Viper are great Anti tanks but Veno is also an anit tank in my opinion. Views?[/COLOR]

I'd consider him more of a team battle initiator with a massively damaging AoE DoT then an anti tank per say. I see what you're saying about the high damage being good for high hp heroes, it can certainly drain them pretty fast.
But really, his Ult is just great against all. Sometimes however the Str heroes will stay around longer though, not realizing the damage potential of the dot, leaving them vulnerable though. It's insanely strong. Let's him solo very well I find if need be, suit's his roaming / ganking nature as well. Rune whoring is a plus too from solo.
In a lane it's just as effective. Veno will make it near impossible for melee to come near creeps, as getting hit with sting will slow their ms, letting veno get in another 1-2 extra hits. [COLOR="LemonChiffon"]I find in pub games sometimes lane phase ward spam turtle strat makes $$ and some really annoyed enemies, a Fav strat for 1v1 Games with Veno, Most Ppl think I'll go Poison DPS and build HoD as a counter only to fall to wards I got a replay with that very game it's an old version if you want you can have it?[/COLOR]

hes way more ridiculous this way than with a damage build imo

I've always preferred stats over ward, wards to me don't seem to great on a hero who I otherwise roam and gank the entire team. I know some people really advocate them but it's something I don't like to put into my build. I prefer the raw HP, Mana stats gives me.
