Werewolf vs Vampire
Got bored and thought, fuck it. So I wrote this bullshit on the origins of vampires and werewolves.
Origins:
Vampire
As we all know vampires do not really have an origin that everyone agrees on, so i will make up my own. As we all know vampires have severe allergies to silver and daylight so we can already see that they were poor and nocturnal so my best guess would be that they were originally the peasants that came out at night. they gained their vampirism through starvation and the vast number of hookers out on the streets which supplied them with lots of blood to feed on and no one cares if a few hookers die because they are worthless anyway. Through the drinking of other peoples blood they were taking on the attributes of those people and adding to there own which is how they got super powers (I.E super speed and strength and the capability to hiss at enemies, all this crap about bats is a pile of bullshit). Also this explains why they have no reflection because no one wants to see a peasant when they look in the mirror
Werewolf
The origins of a werewolf are a lot easier, man gets bitten by wolf and survives, wolf saliva fuses with mans DNA and he transforms under the light of the moon into a wolf-man when he is in his wolf-man form he gains speed and strength and a big scary roar for his enemies. The wolf said to have started this was legendary wolf called Atreyu who was alive in the early 3rd century and feared by all who lived near his territory, many had tried killing him and none had managed, the first werewolf was formed when the captain of the local guard a man called Jared went out to slay this beast and although he failed like all those before him he did manage to survive the fight. After many months of illness and recovery he was now a werewolf and on a nightly basis he would mutate villagers and they would be transformed into werewolves, he swore revenge on Atreyu and one night he positioned himself deep within the forest just before nightfall so that he could find the beast and kill it whilst in his wolf form, though he succeeded with this task the local villagers faced a new threat of the werewolves and this curse soon spread.
both vampires and werewolves turn people into there kind by biting them, they are both nocturnal and they both have so called "super powers". vampires and werewolves would have come into being at around the same time due to the fact that there is an opposite for everything, basically if we had only vampires or only werewolves the human race would pretty soon be destroyed but with vampires and werewolves they are killing each other off constantly meaning there are less vampires and werewolves to kill humans, also when one kills the other they will feed on the corpse again preserving human life because a corpse will feed many and save a human life.

Your theory about vampires, which points out they were peasants at first doesn't explains why they are weak against silver, so i think you are wrong about vampires origin.
My bet is, they were forks at the beginning and they started to evolve through what they are really close with, humans and spoons, of course. They started to evolve slowly, one side which is closer to spoons evolved while gaining aspects of spoons and they became sporks, which is not what we are talking about. Other ones which were closer to humans started to evolve slowly, first they gained aspect of walking from humans and sneaked out from houses, since there were lots of forks, nobody realised it. Then through years they gained other aspects of humans like using their spikes as arms, since they were not that close the humans anymore, they started to gain aspects of animals and BATS, ofcourse. After a while, when they evolved enough, they looked almost same but they also had animal aspects, so they were not totally same and was weak against their origin, SILVER. this explains part about silver, lets talk about daylight part.
As all of us should know, if you leave a fork at daylight for a while, it dries and starts getting warm, this slowly impairs their molecular frame, my bet is, when they evolved to humans, this aspect of them became stronger because they evoled at isolated places.
Also, this idea explains why they have no reflections, since they were forks at first, they have no souls, and if someone have no soul, he won't show up on the mirror.
I don't have anything to say about werewolves, since you wrote down all facts.
Also, you are right about human race would became extinct. if they won't fight with each other and became an alliance or even evolve with each others aspects and became WEREVAMPIRES!
