Current Project
I have been pretty busy for the past few weeks and haven't been able to make any testmaps, play very much dota or be that active on the forums.
Well this is what I have been working on. As of now it's a hero arena map that has some cool things like spell and attack reflection. Currently there are 4 heros, but that number will increase once I have balenced the first 4 heros and have the gameplay fully setup.
Also the map is fully open source so anyone go poke around and mess with shit, I really dont mind.

err its JASS, I'm not going to recode everything just to do something I can already do.
For every trigger you make the game makes a global, so if there is only one trigger there is only 1 global trigger, instead of having 20 or more triggers for each spell.
I can manage everything within a single trigger, so having extra globals seems pointless to me. >.>Posted 06-25-2010 at 08:28 AM by LEM0NS

Vanilla JASS uses a map header as well, the map script ection.
Oh wow. Big deal. Those trigger declerations aren't anything. I believe they are just:
It's IN the init function that they are created, which be pointless if you left them there, besides, it's not like you are going to have about 1000 trigger files?Jass:
globals trigger gg_trg_triggerNamez endglobals
Well - it's you. I'm not gonna complain. Good luck managing your own (messy, unorganized?) code.
Also, unsure, but JassHelper removes those "uneeded" globals. So that just sucks for you?Posted 06-26-2010 at 01:11 AM by Siraraz
