Hero Idea - The Next Purist?

Frenzy Dance [R]
Type: Active/Passive
Target: Ground/AOE
Affect: Enemy
The unit within the targeted area will be cursed and forced to attack any random unit nearby them. They will gain extra AS and Lifesteal due to that curse. If the damaged unit die because of that assault, the attacker will received extra punishment.

Suggested Animation: A concentrated dark energy kinda succumb the area for brief moment. The energy will be faded over the duration and vanish once the duration is over. Unit still can be seen through the smoky energy. This spell does not working if only one unit available within the area.

Notes:
  • Penalty damage dealt by this spell is pure.
  • The lifesteal is simply an aura so, it is not an orb effect.
  • Random unit nearby could be enemies/allied/neutral/non-hero units only.




Energy Swap [W]
Type: Active
Target: Single Unit
Affect: Allied/Enemy
[HERO] channels the light from heaven through the mortal body of the target hero. The targeted hero will have some of his mana converted to heal his own HP. Cannot target hero that have mana below 200.

Sinister Aura greatly reduce enemy unit fighting capability by reducing their Max HP and Mana whenever this [HERO] is nearby. Area of effect will increase on each level of the spell.

Target: Unit
Affect: Enemy
[HERO] enchants the target unit with the most wicked curse ever. The target unit will be healed per sec and later be damaged for double the amount of being healed. Heal amount and cast range will increase per level.

Joker - The Psychopath


The Joker commits crimes with comedic weapons such as a deck of bladed playing cards, an acid-squirting flower, cyanide-stuffed pies, exploding cigars filled with nitroglycerin, harpoon guns that utilize razor-sharp BANG!-flags, and a lethally electric joy buzzer. His most prominent weapon is his Joker venom, a deadly poison that infects his victims with a ghoulish rictus grin as they die while laughing uncontrollably. The venom comes in many forms, from gas to darts to liquid poison, and has been his primary calling card from his first appearance. The Joker is immune to every known venom as well as to his own laughing toxin; in Batman #663, Morrison writes that "being an avid consumer of his products, the Joker's immunity to poisons has been built up over years of dedicated abuse".


JOKER GAMEPLAY ANALYSIS:

Joker will be my chosen hero concept for this incoming CTH16 entry. As you can see from that quote, Joker is represented as a trickster or annoying criminal. I believe even Batman doesn't stand with his misbehave anymore. Having said like that, as for my CTH16 entry, i want to make Joker as a new kind of anti-ganker/chaotic creator type of hero in DotA. As what i can see, there are not so many hero that belong to this group while some of them just have max of 1 spell that emphasized on this kind of role as an anti-ganker/chaos creator. One example that i can give is Dazzle's Weave. Often been used in maximizing the physical damage output of his spells and his allies attacks, this spell can be used to counter ganking and providing unobstructed vision which can help you to scout an area to avoid being ganked and so on. Not to mention its spammability and long casting range. Back to my idea, Joker will be doing this kind of job even better while being a melee range hero, he can always keep creating chaos around his enemy units as his allies can whacked out the enemies within no time.

In addition, creating chaotic scene/condition will not be emphasized in all of his spells since he will be having some damaging spell(s) as he can be one of the terrifying hero when you try to against him.


WHY JOKER WILL BE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER HERO?
- Well, Joker will be one annoying hero if you pick him. You will have your allies raging at you when picking him. Why? Because Joker will be one broken hero that will screws up your allies plan to gank the enemy hero. But instead, he is quite a hero to be watch for by the enemies as he can screwed up their plans too.

- Joker will be one good hero if you want to keep your carry to be busy farming and getting fatter. Why? Because he will screw up the enemies's plan on trying to gank your carry hero in order to out-farmed and out-leveled him. Besides, he can actually provide a safe-play for his carries to play on. In other words, Joker can be another babysitter hero with different concept and play-style.

- Joker is a hero that loves to play with his enemy unit. Any unit that caught in his game show will be sure to be outleveled and so on. His game can be a perma-disable if Joker's player is lucky enough. And, with such a perma-disabled, the unit will sure die in the hand of Joker or his allied hero.

- Joker is one parasite hero where he can takes all the kills without having himself hurts and so on. He is able to saturate an area with his "Psychopath Aura" where any enemy unit that dare enough to stand before him will be punished. He is like "the one who shouldn't be kill or you will be dead instead" type of hero.

- Joker will be equipped with such abnormal leveling system which makes him quite unique and at the same par as Invoker. As this leveling system is unique, his ability will be quite "extraordinary" too.


JOKER'S SPELL ANALYSIS:

Hallucination - It is a core disable spell for Joker. As you can see from its name, this spell is quite dangerous as Joker will cause the unit affected to be disabled for infinity duration (as long as his mana can afford it). To be exact, the enemy unit will be immobile, silent and disarm while being affected by it. In addition, this is a Channeling Spell.

Joy Buzzer - Inspired by his own wicked personality, Joker's Joy Buzzer can cause an annoying effect in the game. Unit that step on it will be knock-back onto the direction assigned by the buzz. Knock-backing another unit will transfer the effect onto that unit and he will be knock-backed instead. This effect will only stop if the last unit doesn't hit anyone while being knock-back. Unit that hit another Joy Buzzer will keep been knock-backed.

Laugh-A-Loads - Deadly laugh by Joker is sure intimidating. Units that affected by this will have Jack in the Box debuff applied on them. This debuff will cause the unit to spawn Jack in the Box on the path that they travels. Jack in the Box lasts for certain duration but can be used as a primary scout-ability for Joker. Jack in the Box also will be equipped with one active ability that surprised any enemy unit that passed on them.

Psychopath Aura - This spell is one passive spell. Mainly used to support ganking/harassing process by Joker itself or his allied hero, this spell can cause your enemy to play-safe and often to stay far away from you. The unit that dare to approach Joker will sure to suffer from this aura.

Duo Evil - Joker split himself into two beings. Both the beings takes the Joker image but one of them only consist of Hit Point and the other only have Mana Point. Both can cast spell but used their own HP and Mana respectively. Both Hallucination and Laugh-A-Loads does not stack on multiple casts but Psychopath aura from both beings is stack. Normal attack deals damage independently.

(How the suggested ability functions as a whole and how it goes well with its own concept, as well as how it could be beneficial to a hero in any situation that is called for, and how the effects in the ability could complement each other to provide a single concept.)

(Self-explanatory. How the ability does not appear too abusive or overpowered in its respects.)

Playability and Fun Factor - 10 Points
(How the ability can provide for a good game.)

(How the ability's icon set and thematic feel fit with the hero of their choosing.)

Originality:
(0 – 5) Obviously not original and most of the spell is kind of a rip off from existing spells in DotA.
(6 – 10) The spell is slightly original with some part of the spell are mixed with the existing effects in DotA.
(11 – 15) Still original, but the spell is kinda overshadowed by an existing spell in DotA.
(16 – 20) Originality is there but still not that amusing.
(21 – 25) Obvious reason is obvious.

Functionality and Flexibility:
(0-6) The spell is messy, out of concept and obviously not a very flexible spell for chosen hero.
(7 – 14) The concept of the spell is there but the spell is still limiting the chosen hero from doing his roles and whatsoever.
(15 – 22) The spell is having a strong concept on its own but does not goes very well with the other spells. However, the spell still allows the hero to become flexible though.
(23 – 30) It is a very good spell on its own and on the chosen hero. The spell is very flexible and functions very well with the whole spells of the chosen hero.
(31 – 35) Obvious reason is obvious.

Balance:
(0 – 5) Imbalance!
(6 – 10) Slightly imbalance!
(11 – 15) Pretty balance but still abuse-able.

[NEUT-AGI] Neevil - The Optomaniac
New goblin hero that possessed the ability of converting ion of light into a laser beam. With his deep knowledge in applying the this latest technology of goblin society, i think you should be aware of this hero.

Neevil parted ways with his former partner Boush, the Tinker when they both ventured into different studies of more in-depth goblin engineering. Neevil focused on magnetism and the power of light amplification by stimulated energy radiation, which in the real world is also known as laser. Sail somehow lets loose electrifying laser beams to unsuspecting foes, shedding their exterior and incapacitating them and make sure they stay that way. Sparkling particles of light and ion fill up the void of the surroundings as Neevil haphazardly brings his marvelous goblin feat to the Sentinel, hoping to finally meet again with his goblin friend.


[SCRG-AGI] Marina - The Owl Rider
Cunning Agility hero that have unique disable spell, and interesting nuke spell. Combine with her Nature themed spells, she is one of the greatest Archer hero ever existed!

Once a member of the Order of the Warden assigned to hunt the betrayer Illidan Stormrage, Marina fought valiantly in numerous skirmishes alongside her sister Mirana Nightshade; and abandoned in a close encounter with the demonic form of Illidan, Marina was left on an isolated blighted forest, dying and burning wounds crawling in her skin. Ner'zhul saw her potential as a worthy commander of the Night Elves and offered his aid to Marina in exchange for her loyalty and her soul. Marina regretted none of it. Because of her closeness with Mirana Nightshade, she has borrowed much of her sister's skills with the bow. Marina would sometimes be seen working with the Undead, but her true quest is to bring down destruction on her once beloved motherland, and to her sister Mirana Nightshade.

One of the new orb-walker hero, and he is STR hero. With his strong HP/HP regen themed spells, Valor sure can rock your day!

The son of the Centaur Warchief, Valor is his father's pride and honor. Enthralled with his father's stories of the battle between the Sentinel and the Scourge, Valor then decided to take arms and join Bradwarden in the war.But the great warchief knew that this would cause his son no good, so he gave him the rank of a Warden until he has the potential to join the battle. Several years have passed, and Valor has upheld his promise of being the great warrior his father dreams of. Now marching on the front lines with his father, Valor fires his arrows with efficiency and great strength, while carrying the pride of a son proud to fight with his own father.


[SCRG-INT]Prowess - The Undead Prophet
She is an undead prophet that master fire element. With her blazing fire spell, she can burnt all enemies that dare to oppose her gracefully.

There's a rumours saying that a witch is wandering around the Tree of Life. During the invasion, Prowess is one of the Illidan's loyal pyromancer and she is the reasons why the Tree of Life is burnt on that day. However, Prowess didn't manage to survive during the invasion as the Elune Warrior manage to kill her. Amazed with Prowess's valor and trust, Lich King has revived her back to aid him in the endless war. Besides, Lich King manage to bless her with miraculous magic. With such a bless, Prowess currently gain a new strength to fight, as she want to redeem her dignity back against the Elune Warrior.


[NEUT-STR]Sasquatch - The Advocate Elder
One of the Elder in Neutral Camp, Sasquatch equipped with the most amazing nature based power. Blessed with the swiftness and agility in killing his opponents, Sasquatch is one of the hero that you should be afraid of.

After the War of Magi, an old community within the deep forest near the Tree of Life was almost extinct and Sasquatch has been sincerely incorporated to build his own beloved community again. Since he is infamous for the shamanistic abilities among his comrades, and well-known for his amazing healing abilities he does not hesitate to perform his abilities in order to aid anyone that really needs his help. Being known for his generosity and respective value, Sasquatch have been pick as their Advocate Elder in sacred forest nearby The Tree of Life. Sasquatch is proud with himself now, which his comrades does not regret having him as the Elder.


[SENT-INT]Felix Nashville - The Holy Guardian
He is one of the hero that lacks synergy, but he can support you till death. With his amazing holy power, he is one of the pure supporter hero that you will fall in love with!

Felix was once a loyal soldier. He always been joined the war for his country sake. One day, he have been fatally injured. Luckily a holy guardian managed to save him. However, the holy guardian only can help Felix, when Felix decided to join him. Nowadays, Felix is one of the most eligible warrior in the battlefield, fighting as well as releasing his arcane magic. With such a bravery, Felix has been announced as Holy Guardian, enable him to equipped the most strongest arcane magic, which is Pure Heart.
