This "discussion thread" can be used for anyone to post a random ability they have created, but it doesn't have a home on a hero's skill set.
To start off, here is an idea I have been tinkering with but at the time I have no current desire to create a water-based (possibly river affiliated) hero.
Water Sphere
(Hero Name) creates a concentrated sphere of water, encasing his/her target. The target will take damage per second based on (Hero Name)'s (main attribute, most likely intelligence). After a period of time, the sphere implodes on the encased target dealing more damage and drowning the target, causing it to be slowed.
Level 1: Slows by 20% movement speed for 5 seconds after implosion.
Damage: 1 x Intelligence per second (encased), 1 x Intelligence instant (implosion); magic damage
Duration: 2 seconds
Casting Range: 450 if melee, 600 if ranged (those are just my suggestions)
Casting Time: Instant
Level 2: Slows by 30% movement speed for 5 seconds after implosion.
Damage: 1.5 x Intelligence per second, 2 x Intelligence instant
Duration: 3 seconds
Level 3: Slows by 40% movement speed for 5 seconds after implosion.
Damage: 2 x Intelligence per second, 3 x Intelligence instant
Duration: 4
Level 4: Slows by 50% movement speed for 5 seconds after implosion.
Damage: 2.5 x Intelligence per second, 4 x Intelligence instant
