Thats because it doesn't remove doom.
Also, I've noticed that death doesn't remove Mjollnirs static field (or whatever)? I'll try and find a replay of it happening.

That's because there is no piece of code to remove it upon death. If you buyback, or resurrect through Aegis/Resurrection, it'll still be in effect.

The old kraken shell used to remove doom but the current one doesn't. I think panda's purge can remove GS though

My post that Linism has quoted only explains hardcoded interactions. Doom can be removed by Culling Blade, Ice Blast's Shatter, Devour and Borrowed time, which use triggered buff removal.

I think he means that if you cast doom at the moment Weaver is using time lapes, It is really unlikely to happen but Weaver will still use time lapse.
