Do dispels remove stuns?

only if theres a trigger to do that. stuns based on shackles or something might be an exception though.

Well can anyone confirm the Shackles then? I know that they kill hexes.

AFAIK no. Dispel only removes debuffs, which hex is (since it's based off polymorph). I'm fairly certain stuns are not considered debuffs.

Though that makes me wonder. Would it remove some other whack stuff, like Charge of Darkness?

Charge of Darkness is triggered, although the Faerie Fire buff is removable.

Shackle is based on Aerial Shackles though. Is that a debuff?

There are many debuffs, which are dispellable and others, which are not. Stun is a debuff just like hex, but not dispellable.
Aerial Shackles cannot be purged/dispelled. Removing the buff however (via triggered buff removal, for example abba shield, borrowed time, axe culling blade death blow - quite unimportant in this case :P) will cancel Shackles. This applys to other stuns, too.

Dispel works for example for hex and overgrowth.

well to be honest i don't know the exact of them but if you take a fist-rule everything that can be purged can also be dispelled (Panda storm spirit dispel magic is amazing)

only exceptions are insatiable hunger and god's strength.
but that's not a hardcoded issue but triggered like that.

and to the original question: no, stuns are not purgeable.

Might not be 100% correct, maybe you are better off waiting for someone to confirm
