Not sure what you mean by this, the 3d levels of sonic seem close enough, especially the levels in Sonic Generations (especially in 30 second time attack, or whatever it was called). That said, the actual gameplay is probably more polished, since the levels are linear and not as detailed. Anyway, Sonic Generations was awesome, if you haven't played it, play it.
I'll probably at least try this one out, but I'm not really expecting that much out of it. Seems pretty bare bones, and everything would fall on the actual level/challenge/achievement design. I'm not that into getting a 0.2 sec faster time in games, and if that's the focus, i'll probably skip it.
The only game where getting the best time/hitting every move in the level perfectly is the most important thing I'd currently play is Dustforce, simply for the brilliant replay system on the scoreboards.
