[CHATROOM] The Readers' & Writers' Lounge

I was very disappointed when Bakuman ended. It was my favorite manga series from Weekly Shounen Jump. Well, can't complain; story driven mangas like Death Note and Bakuman tend to end faster but always leave a good taste in your mouth when you read them. Unfortunately, I didn't like the ending too much.

Really? Could you possibly have ended it in any other way? (discounting tragedy, its not that genre) Stories like that, the ending is written at the beginning.

I'm gonna begin on a new story, right this minute. I would expect a chapter or two up in the next few days.

I feel the need to write again...

I haven't done so in god knows how long...

It was the presentation that I didn't like. They only had 18 pages for their finale so they squished it all in.

I get a disturbing image whenever I remember how Kiana looks like in real life; it doesn't suit this "desu desu" shit at all.

Desu is a sentence ender used by japanese girls who try to look cute. Other than that, it is a basic verb that means "is" or "am".
