The sad thing is: I'm starting to like it.

And I've noticed many people, specially Peruvians (people from Peru), are taking it seriously and even applying it on DotA1, be it by spamming Chen/Enchantress, building an early basillus to shift the creep balance, grouping for early pushes etc.

Next trend is going to be turtling/ganking. Metagame shifts in cycles, for instance Jungler´s era was in 2009.

Wow, I believe that quote was taken out of context, but if it helps to prove a point I'm not really against anything. Personally, I think the metagame is going to shift into whatever Icefrog didn't expect it to turn out.

I vote for turtling as next era
Some team will do great turtling that defeats all pushing, other teams will follow, and the pushing meta will be slowly changed to the turtling meta

I don't like turtling. I would rather have 4 people kill themselves over and over and over and over again, while each team has a aware carry hero ricing somewhere but also dodging ganks.

But not 4 heroes hiding in the base while one hero takes all the risk by trying to farm, then gets aided by 4 tps when he gets ganked.

And I don't like endless pushing
We don't really have a choice, only icefrog and the pros can affect the meta

I remember an old replay, old school eu players, with this guy who I can't remember getting an ultra kill as bane at min 2 or sth, or another game with over 100 kills. I laughed through the first few mins of those games. Then I knew that those players were simply acting god damn immature and throwing games. I don't want that, honestly.

Pushing sucks, ganking is nice, turtle is also pretty cool, so yea hoping for the pushing meta to end soonish.

Yeah, Azen, I know you'd be able to fill me in. Honestly, we strive towards a metagame where every strategy is equally viable. This requires perfect balance, which is improbable, yet it should be what we aim to, rather than favoring a single style.
