Default mTw claims DreamHack Summer 2012


In an absolutely thrilling performance, Team mTw have managed to defeat Ukraine’s Team Na`Vi and get crowned the Champions for DreamHack’s Corsair Vengeance Cup 2012.

Being spearheaded by Troels ‘syndereN’ Nielsen who is the defending captain of the DreamHack title, Team mTw picked up a 2-1 victory against Na`Vi to retain the crown at this prestigious event.

This best of three affair kicked off to a glorious start in a 60 minute encounter with impressive play from both the teams. However, Team Na`Vi steadily built the bricks that gave them an eventual victory in the first match. The entire affair then moved on to the Dream Arena where the road for mTw got even harder with a dire necessity to pick up two back-to-back wins against a team that has been undefeated on a LAN final for a long time now.


Despite being placed in such a tight situation on one of the biggest stages of them all, Team mTw managed to maintain their composure and pulled out their bag of tricks that allowed them to have a clean and well framed journey to a much deserved destination.

Having qualified for The International 2012 not so long ago and with a gold medal at such a major LAN event, Team mTw will be running in high spirit and great confidence which may just be the factor needed to make them an opponent to fear come this August in Seattle.

Synderen is a really great drafter. In the matches he was co-casting he was able to tell all the picks and tactics teams were planning before they happened. The most important factor in winning against na'vi was picking the right heroes imo. And they all played great ofc.
