What are the treasure boxes that I'm getting?

Someone explain please. Haven't been playing DotA 2 at all as I have been focussing on work/League of Legends. Played a game today and got a chest. What do I do with this?

You need to buy a key from the Dota 2 Store for real money to open it. Mostly there is crap in the treasures but with a little luck you can get some rare items/courriers

Custom couriers can also be found in treasures with a little luck.

The extra effects are not worth it, neither the lame kill-count on items.

Use your money on something better, like announcer packs.

Don't buy any key for common chest.
Buy keys for uncommon chests.

So, why League of Legends, if you don't mind me asking? Do you feel that it satisfies your defensive side more?

Yajirobe is so pro, even downtimes caused by Riot's crap servers and client won't stop him from playing LoL.

Nah, it just appeals to me more than DotA 2 as of this moment. A lot of my favourite heroes haven't been imported yet

People talk down on LoL calling it a easy game but it really isn't, it's easy stomping low levels nubs but it's a much different story when you climb the ladder.

LoL is surprisingly a very challenging game at high levels, people just don't realize this. Even a top NA player (BraxBraxBrax) whom I usually play with agrees.

Being unnaturally skilled with a hero does not make him your favorite. I'm fucking imba with BH, AntiMage, etc., doesnt mean they are my favorite.
