I commend the OP for invoking such a huge shit storm over something that will never make it in the game. If you're trolling, you succeeded quite nicely.

Even if I were to take this idea seriously, it wouldn't fit no matter how you look at it. There would be no way for Valve to keep it even remotely similar unless they wanted to be sued to death.

As for the fans of the Nyan Cat courier: HoN has it. At first it didn't fit, but then S2 started adding a fuckton of sparkling shit, so much in fact that Nyan Cat is the least outstanding of the lot.

Well, it won't be copyright infringement, if the courier was named something like:
Rainbow Stallion
Heaven Horse
Skittles the Pony


Also, the design of the courier does not have to be the EXACT Rainbow Dash.
It could be a horse/pony, the colour of the sky, with a rainbow mane, but like what someone else said above, have reins, straps, and even a chest box on its back.
This will not be copyright infringement, because Hasbro does not own Rainbows and Blue Ponies.
The design would be remotely similar, but it is an inspiration from Rainbow Dash, and can be classified as parody/satire.
