Default [STR/SNT] Kemloose - The Slag Turtle


This is my first hero concept. Please make building critics, icons maked by me using war3model editor and gimp ;p. If someone can, please check the statistics and say something about it cause i think hero can be unbalanced.
Kemloose - The Slag Turtle

Splash
- Nuke
Turtle stomp hard! He deals dmg in AOE and slows. When he is in water, deals additional dmg and slow.
Damage: 75/100/150/250|+5%/15%/30%/50% (water)
Slow: 5%/10%/20%/40%|+5%/+10%/+15%/+20% (water)
Mana: 100/110/120/140|Cooldown: 25/20/15/10


Spit - Attack Type
Turtle spits on enemy, slowing him and damaging. Each level gives longer range and better slow.
Range: 100/200/400/800
Slow: 5%/8%/14%/20%
Mana: 5/10/15/25|Cooldown: 8/4/2/0


Waterbrute - Passive
Turtle have increased regeneration and move speed when he is near water, because he <3 water !
Health regen: 3/5/8/12 Move speed: +10/+20/+30/+40
Distance: 100/200/400/800
Mana: - Cooldown: -

ULTIMATE(I dont know what ulti is the best, please give your opinion):


Rage - Self Buff (Ulti concept)
Kemloose waked up and now he isn’t lazy longer! Turtle gain additional move and attack speed.
Move Speed: 5%/15%/25%
Attack Speed: 5%/15%/25%
Mana: 200 | Cooldown: 120


Tsunami – Nuke (Ulti concept)
Kemloose blast with great wave of water, humans call this “Tsunami”. This scary wave deals dmg and moves enemies with flow.
Damage: 100/225/450
Distance: 400/500/600
Mana: 200/250/300 | Cooldown: 120
Aghanim upgradeable: Deals damage to buildings: 100% and makes distance longer: +200.


Harden - Self Buff (Ulti concept)
Kemloose gets bored with his weak enemies and he harden itself. He gets armor and enemies in AOE are provoked to attack him.
Armor: +14/+25/+35
AOE: 200/300/500 | Seconds: 5/7/10
Mana: 200 | Cooldown: 120
Aghanim upgradeable: Adds damage from spikes, deals 100/200/300 dmg, per attack on Turtle.

Story(i need to work on it):
Turtle is turtle and he is slag, forever.

First it would be great if you would use a template.

1 Skill: Splash is kinda similar to Thunder Clap. I wouldn't change the whole concept on this skill but i would suggest to improve it a bit to make it more unique.

2 Skill: We already have a lot of slow orb effects in dota. I would change this skill completly. I would make this skill change the terraine around your hero into water, with a second effect like increased attack speed...

3 Skill: If you change the second skill you have a great synergie and enough MS to hunt.

4 Skill: As the Ultimate i would choose the Tsunami and make it possible to choose the direction u cast it, so that u can wave enemy heroes close to you or as an escape to push them away.

Alternate ultimate idea-


Recede - Toggled skill
Kemloose enters his shell, making him nearly magic and damage immune, but entirely immobile and unable to attack. Kemloose can still use Splash and most items while in his shell.
Armor: +50/+100/+150
Magic Resistance: +50/+70/+90
Aghanim's upgrade: Can move while in shell, but base move speed is lowered to 100

Thx for feedback, i will put it into template soon. Nice idea but still i can't choose one from this ultis ;p. How about balance ? Will think also about 2 and first skill thx for suggestions.

For the tsunami skill i think itd be cool if the water came from the nearest source of water. It could also be a global cast range lol, Considering the difficulty of cast in many areas. Moves at a set ms and such.

Read base on color coding

What is this? What is the hero attack range(melee or range)? What is the base attack time(BAT)
Obviously this is your first hero isn't it? You have no idea of the mechanic of wc3. As you put attack/second is actually another way of putting BAT/AS


This is just a situational version of thunderclap/earthshock.

I believe that you'll make the hero have 800 attack range from this. Simply because all hero that have an orb walking skill will have their range equal to the case range of orb walking skill.
Anyway, this is just another version of frost arrow


Concept too weak. The river is just a narrow path and the buff isn't too significant.


Shall not comment on your ulti as you didn't decide on 1 yet.

Splash is basically Earth Shock or Thunderclap. You could add a few effects to make it unique.
Spit is just another slow orb walk, and since this Hero has a slow, he doesn't need another one. I would completely redo this skill.
I really like the idea with the passive buff when near the water, you could make him a rune controller or something like that.
For his Ult I'd go for Tsunami, simply cause it's not in DoTA yet - and it has its own "muse" so it's different than Slithice's rip tide. I like how the wave pushes enemies away, and that it can be used for pushing, perhaps you might want to make this hero a pusher/ganker?
I would also increase the damage of Tsunami. 100 damage for an Ult is pretty petty, especially for 200 mana.

Is it just me or that hero's skill is just looks like mine (Poseidon/crab general) by the way if you want that skill build better switch spit with a skill that creates water.
