denieing creep help

hey, i just got a quick question, from wat i been hearing this is a advance mechanic so why im posting here. how do i denies my opponit from killing a tower or a creep. i see ppl do it but i have no idea how to, few ppl said u have to go into game files and edit some codeing, some say u have to change it to a key binding, but i look in the setting and have not seen anything relateing to that, any help plz?

You can attack your own towers, but will be stopped immediately unless they have less than 10% HP. So, for instance, if a level 1 tower has less than 130 hp, you can attack and deny it.

Attacking your own full health towers will briefly hex your hero.

If you're wondering how to actually do the denying, you just press A then click on what you want to deny.

1. DO NOT edit the coding you will b banned.
2. creeps need 40%hp to be denied, towers 10% and heroes, are more complicated read this btw id recommend reading the rest of the page not just denying
3. you deny by tapping the 'a' key (don hold it) and then right clicking on what u want to deny-care you cant atk enemy units until u clear the 'a' tho, eg through move command

No, he won't be able to join hosted games. Nothing about that can get him banned.

First off, it's 50% not 40%. Also, this is a DotA 1 forum, so information from the DotA 2 wiki won't be an accurate source. Heroes need to have <25% HP and must have at least one of the following buffs: [BNdo] Doom, [BEsh] Shadow Strike, [B001] Viper Strike, [B0AQ] Venomous Gale, [B0AP] Shadow Word (the negative one), and [B05D]/[B05M]/[B05N]/[B05O] Curse of the Silent 1/2/3/4.

What are you talking about? Tap 'a' and then just leftclick on whatever you want to attack. Can be enemies or allies, it just won't work on non-deniable allies.

Can you clarify in which dota version were viper strike and silencer's spell added because at a certain point they were not in the list?
