Mayby I'm blind, but hero page doesn't tell anything about how much it slow down for each unit/tree.
Edit: Slow is 10% for unit and 1% for a tree. |

No, I'm blind. The way I read it, I thought the description talked about the speed and the effect description for each level, the damage. But both mention damage only.

LOL NO!
the 10% damage is reduced damage per unit hit! so if there are 5 units lined up to each other, the first unit to be hit will recieve full 360 damage, and will be reduced by 10% on the second creep, then reduced by 10% on the third creep and so on. EDIT: oh and, that slow thing you mean on hero page isnt really noticeable so just leave it like that.

Speed is indeed reduced by 10% per unit and 1% per tree. Note that this is 10% or 1% of the current speed, not the original speed, so it will never be slowed to a stop.

You need it to hit 76 creeps to slow down to less than 1 u/s.

Possible, just block off sentinel bot lane with veno wards (choke next to tier 2 tower) and watch hundreds of creeps stack up. If you want, you can compress them on the ward hill with dark seer.

The amount of time the arrow travels is fixed, so it will travel less distance if it hits more creeps.
