Is it possible to remove Ice Blast's effects ?

I'd like to know if it's possible to remove all of Ice Blast's effects with Manta Style and/or BKB, and if yes, how is that achieved ?

The "buff" is actually an aura.
Manta - No, everything will be kept, the buff, the visual, no-regen, etc...
Illusions wont be affect by it
Bkb - No, everything will be kept. Not sure on damage though.

False and false. Why do you spread wrong information?

Manta removes it completely.
About BKB, I'm sure it removes the damage part, not so sure whether the whole buff gets dispelled, including the shatter

The shattering effect function runs whenever the unit that was hit by Ice Blast is damaged. It checks for the buff as well, and if the unit doesn't have it, the trigger is destroyed. So, in order to prevent the shattering with these abilities, you need to get damaged (even a 0-damage event would suffice), at most 0.5 seconds (a.k.a. before the buff is reapplied) after using them.

So, if I did understand correctly BBQ's post, to get rid of Ice Blast completely when you have Manta Style in your inventory, you'd need to activate it and get damaged in the next 0.5 second after splitting to get rid of it. Is it correct ?

On the other hand, all BKB can do, whether before being hit by Ice Blast or after, is rendering you immune to the initial damage and DoT in the first case, while dispelling the DoT in the second one, is that correct ?

Just read BBQ's post; you don't have to keep asking questions that were already answered.

Kenshiro, your interpretation is basically correct, although you will usually have less than 0.5 seconds to get damaged after removing the buff.

i dont think euls dispells it, but it does prevent damage while your in the air

Cyclone is triggered to remove Ice Blast. Reading is surely overrated.
