The ''best'' emulator for older NINTENDO consoles...

For me its the best because i really dont give a single fuck about new consoles. The old nintendo handhelds were the best. The only sad thing is that todays kids will never enjoy tittles like pokemon silver , red , super mario land etc.
New games that come out rarely become succesful , and most of them are based on old tittles like zelda and mario. At least we havent seen a new fps for ps3 based on metroid xD

dosbox, visual boy advance are about the only emulators I need (well, I ran a playstation, mame and c64 emulator as well back in time, but far less than dosbox and vba)
mega man battle network 2+3(+4) was great although repetative while the series went on, but liked pvp matches.

Eh, I'm quite a megaman noob myself, only played the one with zero, and now this one.
Also, feels like posting this: |

I am not a console fan however, didn't really play anything besides PC and that's been after 2000s too. |

I've never had a console in my life (except for a gameboy color with pokemon yellow and mario tennis), but thanks to emulators I've managed to play many of the console classics from Sega Genesis and Snes ^^
Also, this game managed to take a few tears out of my eyes back then, but sadly, I think nobody knows about it T_T http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crusader_of_Centy |

Mega Man 4 was the first Mega Man I beat. I installed a NES and GBA Emulator on my PSP. It's good to play some Contra or Excite Bike or Circus Charlie once in a while. I'm currently playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

X never felt right for me tbh. It was too damn easy (and X4 is easy enough). Zero always has that acrobatics feel, while X is somewhat clunky in his ability changing.

I was actually shocked the other day when I came across a portable console for the old nes and snes games! I decided to but both and had such fun reliving the good old days before the playstation came to be, yes it did not have fantastic graphics, dodgy gameplay and sometimes, language barriers, but it brings back so many memories. Play any/if at all old games nowadays? Flamers welcome I guess?
