Default Any way to counter OD?

How to counter OD? OD is just too powerful in early mid lane. With his good attack animation, any decent player can last hit and deny almost all the creeps. Because of his 2nd skill, the enemy can't even get any last hit or get close to the creeps. That exp/gold gap between OD and his opponent will only get larger and larger without interruption from any sides.

Let him win the lane then beat him up in the late game.

Dont pick a mana dependent and int laner if you want something decent in early.
But you dont must win the lane btw, its really hard 1v1.
Also some dual mid combos make him/her useless.

Then proceed to gank and beat him with silences and bkbs.

Or:
1.pick nyx
2.rape him

Lone Druid destroys him in lane. Keep hitting him and he wont be able to regenerate hp as much as you can damage him.

Uninstalling DotA 2 counters all heroes, which is better than just countering one hero, I guess?

Yep the answers are.

1. His hardcounter: Nyx
2. People who don't need mana to stay in lane: Bloodseeker
3. People who can zone him: Sniper

etc..

Lategame indeed, but OD's goal is to rape the early game. And lategame huskar can just get a bkb

Not sure why you guys are implying it's easy to counter OD lategame. Lategame OD will effortlessly and absolutely destroy most heroes.

Nyx counters him pretty hard but solo mid Nyx is asking too much. Huskar should counter him just about enough to make him cautious and go defensive but i honestly think OD is rather gay hero! Very annoying to play against. OD has everything, high armor, decent attack animation, huge attack range, Disable, orb effect, Bigass manapool and Sick ultimate!!

Good attack animation? Are we talking about OD's very slow projectile (lower bound) and his very low range (lower bound)? Or about his average attack speed?
The only thing about OD's laning that is good is his damage - and Astral Imprisonment of course.

The missing interruption is obviously a big problem. Everyone who thinks OD is hard to lane against does this:
"omg he gonna banish me, I must stay away as much as possible, omg he's gonna last hit everything and I lose the lane ((".
If you're not last hitting with a pathetic int support hero, you can easily take hits with him. Harass him out of the lane, use your +150 range as an advantage, or just kill him. Also you can win the rune war very easily because OD is one of the worst pushers (I think he is even the worst pusher) in the early game.

Of course all this requires some basic knowledge of the game and of the midlane. If you lack all this, then *you probably deserve to get devoured* you should just let him freefarm there and go gank some other lanes. OD is a bad ganker, a bad farmer, and is very easy to kill at any stage of the game no matter how many items he got.
The damage output from a free farm OD is nowhere as good as from a freefarm carry and almost every ability and item counters him hard.

I'm not sure if this is a troll post. "huge attack range"? OD's attack range is one of the lowest in the entire game (not counting melee heroes), and you wanna tell us it's huge? I think you mistake this hero.
Also I disagree about the sick ultimate. Eclipse from a farmed OD rarely deals more than 400 damage per unit, which is pretty underwhelming considering he can only use it once every 3 minutes.

When you mentioned the "bigass manapool" you apparently fogot to mention that he also has bigass manacosts, and he is completely skill dependant.

I would advise everyone to just ignore Typhox on this matter, he is well known to play OD almost exclusively and a few months ago, before OD got popular in competitive he was arguing in balance debates that OD needs a buff *because he gets countered by BKB*, so....

Anyway, you cant counter OD in pubs, unless you can convince your team to go 2v1 against him. The only two heroes that might stand a chance are druid and sniper and even they will have a hard time. Ever since imprisonment got fixed i lost only 1 single game with OD. There is no way to stop OD from getting mek at 10 min and then you just tell your team to group as 5 and you push all the towers and win every teamfight until their carries get BKB, which they dont because its only 20 min into the game and you already took their rax.

Im not saying OD is op, because i feel like he can be dealt with, just not in pubs. he is currently the strongest pubstomper out there IMO.

And 30 other reasons that you are now leaving out because you feel like lying and talking shit about me makes you badass.

Strongest pubstomper, 47% winrate. Something is definitely not right.

Of course, you rate my playskill by judging random games. Of course the list doesn't show the 3 games that I won but the server crashed when I destroyed the ancient. Of course it does show the games that I abandoned because I was in very bad mood. Of course it also shows my last game played from a laptop where I had a not correctly working keyboard, had to play while laying on my bed (and destroying my neck), very bad visuals and less than 5 fps in a team fight. Guess why i didn't play a second one.

But yea, I'm solo queuing every game, I don't play 100% every game, I pick OD everygame, and enemy counterpicks me everygame.
Still I somehow managed to get a positive winratio with this trash hero, and I managed it to get into the highest skill bracket more than once within the last 6 months. Yes, I managed to win against tournament players, and more often I lost against them.

The important part is: I never said anything wrong, I never lie and I'm always honest.
You however are a dumb pussy who's only posting to harm other people, to troll, and of course you would never show your own Steam profile.

When I get back home, I'm going to start a new Steam account that nobody knows and nobody will ever know, so I can say, you had your chance to verify what I'm telling and how I'm playing. You were abusing it.

Same with the playdota/dev-dota account.

Yeah, stalk me more stupid idiot. That link you got is ages old.
I never think of myself as an awesome player, unlike you selfish bastards who believe you are the best ones in the universe.
But when you call me a noob, then something is VERY wrong on your side, because it is more than obvious that I'm not a beginner in this game, and it is proven anyway.
