hell, you might get started on knowing what logic means.
Right, Satan

Well, it's actually more the person own choice to take them, until the point they can't make the decision themselves. It seems you've never had a relative in that situation, I wish you won't.

Quote:
ofc, the soul trascends this space-time continuum, although God gives people new bodies, because a soul must reside within a body, no matter where they are going. That's why you can read in the Bible that at times, or most of the time God acts like he doesn't even care whether people is going to live or die. He can resurrect them at anytime if he wants, in fact all and everybody WILL resurrect at the proper time. So there is no point in crying tears of sorrow for years after people is gone. The main worry is where people will go to after they revive. But dead people will receive new bodies, yeah.

I don't think he exists, he actually exists whether I think of it or not, the same way I exist whether you think of me as a real person or not.
And this is what you think. Sadly for you, what you believe is irrelevant to reality.

Quote:
As explained above, I don't think as "my life belongs to him", I can do with my life anything I wanted (and so can you), but nothing would save me (or you) from death.
The whole life concept is irrelevant at this point. You see, any person is made of 3 different things, body, soul, and spirit, this body that we know of eventually will decay, but we will be given a new one, the spirit is given by God himself and eventually will return to God, and the soul is what we're left with. So what we are trying to do, or should be trying to do at this point is to arrange a deal with God or something like that.
Right, can you provide any scientific papers about this spirit and soul?

Quote:
No matter what you do they will be taken away from you, or you from them and there's nothing you can do about it.
Yes. So what? That still doesn't change the fact that the only ones concerned with my life are myself, my family and my friends.

Quote:
One day you will understand this, but it will be probably too late for you to change mind about it.
Ah, the threat, of course...

If your god does exist and I am brought before him when I die, I'll simply tell him that I was wrong.

Then I'll ask him why he didn't give us evidence of his existence and why I should be treated differently than Thomas, who like me, refused to believe until he had evidence.

After, I'll ask him if everything in the bible is true, and if it is, why he acts like a narcissistic racist homophobic jealous bloody genocidal maniac with anger management issues, lack of communication skills, horrible fetishes and so on.

Finally, if the bible is indeed true, then I'll tell him to shove it up in divine rear end, and that I'd rather go in hell, since according to the bible, the devil is a saint compared to your god.

Quote:
if you stopped from helping others when you could have done so, yes you're being immoral.
Can you find one person on this Earth, in all of mankind History, who never passed the opportunity to help someone?

You have about as much evidence that the devil exists as you do that god exists, and that's zilch.

ya logic means believing in something that has no physical evidence?

Ya sounds logical. Remember that one time spock said, "Belief in unverifiable claims, is logical".

If the real fun starts after you die, why let a person keep suffering? Why not let their life expire a month before they will die of "natural causes"? Aren't you just speeding up the process and sending them faster to eternal bliss and/or damnation?

Do you even know what pain killers do?

0 evidence, sounds logical to me guys, case open and closed, you don't need your body because god will just give you a new body. Doesn't matter if you never could walk in your first life, suddenly you will know how and your legs will magically work because it's a new body! How you will be able to retain any thought or memories, is a miracle, because although you're getting a new body, all your brain connections will remain exactly the same.

He actually exists with zero evidence? You atleast can prove to an extant that you're a real person, why doesn't god (or the devil) come prove they both exist?

Oh wait, imaginary beings have a hard time getting on the internet.

body/soul/spirit?! What is this I don't even. Can you prove these? I thought all we had were bodies.

How cute, he's being condescending.

So if someone is in pain and misery and wants you to end their lives, you're fucked either way because it's immoral to help them kill themselves, but it's also immoral not to help other people.

Circular reasoning FTW.

Also, hell is going to be much more intellectually fulfilling, what with Galileo, Hitchens, Sagen, and millions of other philosophical geniuses. Also all the skimpy clad girls and cocaine to go around. Hell sounds awesome!

you cant die either (or at least you come back to life) so there can be contests to see who can do the most coke in an hour with no negative consequences

Most of my relatives are alive and well thanks. When they get sick we don't go around giving them medicines which have bad/undesired collateral effects unlike your family does. And those that passed away, I don't care about them anymore. Death is as natural as life is.

I think it was a little ago when it was found that an alive body weights more than a dead body, or that a person recently dead weighted less than moments before when he was alive, but ofc that's no "scientific proof" enough for you.
The truth is, you need no scientific papers, because you refused to listen logic long ago. Hell, you hardly can learn how logic/common sense works, anyway

Yes. So what? That still doesn't change the fact that the only ones concerned with my life are myself, my family and my friends.
the point is you're deliberately refusing to help them.

lol. Go grow up. How is a saint supposed to tempt others? to do all these bad things like steal/kill/destroy/etc? Oh yeah looks like your definition of saint is grossly mistaken. Might I ask you to check dictionary.com?

He is as real as your god, that is non existent.

So what do you do when they aren't able to make that decision?

Good for you. Until the day you're in that situation, I'm not surprised you don't understand.

Right, 21 grams, right? And what if you did search a bit on the subject, you'll have find that: "MacDougall's results were flawed because the methodology used to harvest them was suspect, the sample size far too small, and the ability to measure changes in weight imprecise. For this reason, credence should not be given to the idea his experiments proved something, let alone that they measured the weight of the soul as 21 gram. His postulations on this topic are a curiosity, but nothing more"

Still waiting for evidence.

Quote:

So? It happens, I can't help every single person I meet.

Quote:

Oh, you play dumb, how cute.

Quote:

Yep, we already know you have no problem with people being tortured forever for not believing the same crap as you. Immorality?

Quote:

Then I'll ask him why his fuckton of proof was so cleverly hidden in a way that the majority of the world didn't see it. And why he didn't gave us the same kind of evidence that he supposedly did 2000 years ago.

Quote:
So that's your real name.
What? Did you even understand what I was referring to?

The truth always hurts, after hearing it a few billions time, maybe he'll understand.

Well, can you tell me what did the devil steal? Who did he kill (and how)? What did he destroy?
Now compare to your god, and tell me how can your perfect god, obviously better than a saint, could kill and destroy so much?

Quote:
You want me to make a list. Right...
Not a list, you obviously can't read. Just one name will be enough, if you can prove he never passed the opportunity to help.

By the way, I see you conveniently "forgot" to answer what's below. Do you mind answering, I'm genuinely interested in your explanation.

Quote:
Quote:
So how can I prove anything to you if you don't even know what logic is. I've been repeating it the whole time. Cause and consequence. If the consequence is true, the cause must be true as well. You cannot prove it otherwise unless the consequence happens to be false as well.
Your argument is wrong on so many levels:

"If the consequence is true, the cause must be true as well". That is valid within our universe (and again, we're not sure, there are some really interesting on quantum level that we don't know much about yet), you can not apply it "outside" or "before" our universe. How would you apply the cause and consequence principle in a state that we know nothing about and where space or time probably didn't even exist?

Second, if that rule did apply "outside" or "before" our universe, what is the cause of your god? And if your god has no cause, then why would the universe need one?

Only 3 things you need to believe in. Science, God and the internet.
