Default Murphy's Law in DotA


Your attacks always deal minimal value of your attack damage range, your enemies always hit for maximum.

Your crit and bash never procs unless the enemy is at 20 HP.

Enemy void backtracks all damage, you always take full damage.

You never multicast, yet enemy always gets it 4x

Your wards always time out right before enemy ganks, enemy wards are always up and running.

Your casting animation always gets canceled if enemy is juking, enemy always finishes casting.

If you charge into enemy team, initiate without any mistake, at least one of your pub teammate is running back.

OR

When your pub teammates' initiation fails and leads to team wipe while you survive, you will be reported.

this thread content is ironicly the reason why i stopped playing dota

You will always be blamed and your efforts of warding and pulling the first 10 minutes will be ignored.

You will be blamed for a carry getting fat when ur laning on the other far lane.

You will be blamed when a teammate dies.

You will be flamed for playing the game.

Your operating system tabs you out because of some antivirus program exactly when you are about to launch the deciding team clash.

Your mouse runs out of battery or your USB interface plugs your mouse off for some random reason, exactly when you are about right click to run away from your enemies. But no no, you are the dead carry for 90 seconds and lack 100 gold to rebuy, and the enemies finish the game.

When your team is mainly of composed of magic-casters and you try to RS, upon bringing him down to 5% HP after the longest RS-ing time humanly possible your enemies will come, wipe your team and take the dying RS for themselves.

There's always an enemy obs in the area you are to plant an obs on, hence it will get de-warded 10 secs later.

(Ability Draft) Your ally will always get that one last skill you need to be the ultimate right-click carry.

  • You are always the victim of a blind hook, even if you were among 4 allies and a creep wave.
  • The grass is always greener on the enemy side, they will always have the most optimal neutral creep spawns for either farming or dominating.

There is a 99% chance that when you blink close to a 5/5 enemy team with enigma and land a perfect black hole, before pressing r, fatal error occurs.

Enemy Slark always has 300 agility minimum. Allied Slark barely makes it to level 12.
