Guess what, not believing in any religion is the first of being an atheist. If you don't believe in any gods, then you are an atheist.

Atheism is, in a broad sense, the rejection of belief in the existence of deities.

You are confusing atheism with anti-theism or anti-religion(an ideology). Eradication of religion is a noble goal and making fun of it in the mean time is an interesting pass-time.
