I take this thread as kind of an opportunity if Settlers 7 is worth to play, not asking if it's worth the money, just if it is worth slowing down my internet for like 2 hours when I'm downloading it... I really like RTS games that are also focused on building the base/city a lot, and this games seems like one. I don't even know if it has multiplayer, but I don't really care about that.

That's why I keep telling why jungle creeps don't sleep during the night in DotA2? No matter what people say, that shit gives the game a truly "unique" environment.

Deep Snow in ColdTech will change the way you move infantry. Slowing their movement to a crawl, crossing deep snow becomes a tactical decision that players will have to carefully consider.
Crater-creating munitions will negate the effects of deep snow, however, so don't be afraid to use some carefully placed mortar shells! As well as truesight you see what your units see will be in CoH 2 |

Small scale tactical combat, which allows you to take control of individual units for precision actions.
Something like old Battlezone, or the never recognized Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising Damn, I loved that game... |

Fucking physics man.
Nothing like panning around the battlefield and you see a commando parachuting and firing at anyone on the way down. Or even an awesome dogfight between 2 opposing squadrons ![]() Heck, even a soldier on a missile will be good enough. |
