There is problem with DotA 2 its called HoN, LoL and DotA1. So there are 3 problems.

There is a duality to the nature of man. It is logical when valve works on tf2 they are insane while when they work on dota 2 tryhard mode engage.

...To the point: the biggest thing theyd be hiding is alpha new hero concepts with 100% less engine limitations. And I mean ALPHA in every sense of the word, they haven't even ported everything bugfree yet :S
