Hi everyone! I made a similar suggestion back in DA but it didn't get the attention that I think it deserves. So now I'm bringing this to you new and improved. This suggestion also doubles as a brainstorming thread so I hope you all like it. This is your chance/excuse to show off that really creative item of yours that you think doesn't quite fit in. Or if you liked this suggestion but don't feel like commenting just bump it.
Goblin Trade Ship

My suggestion is to add 2 shops that will enter and leave the map at a regular basis. Specifically these shops will be the Goblin Trade Ships. They will sell items and give services only unique to them. This is only available via game mode. -TS
These ships are basically shops that will enter the scourge and sentinel bases and park themselves on the fountain area. One will enter from the lower left corner for the sentinel and another at the upper right corner for the scourge at exactly daybreak, which is when the first creep wave leave the base. They will stay on their respective bases for 6 minutes and be back after another 6 minutes. They are invulnerable to any attacks just like all the other shops.
Alternate fight path:
Another good idea would be that the ships would enter from the goblin labs and travel to the secret shops then to the bases all within 6 mins.
These are the things that I had in mind for sale and you are all welcome to contribute if you wish. Items and Services:
Reveals a target area on the map for 5 seconds. Shows invisible units.
It has an 800 aoe and a 1 min cooldown.
Greater Flying Courier: 300g
Upgrades your flying courier making it faster and tougher.
It gives 150 life(300 total).
It will now always move at burst speed.
Courier shield lasts 10 seconds at 20 seconds cooldown.
gives 400 bounty.
Horadric Bag: 500g
A 3 slot bag that allows you to disassemble items and transmute it into gold. It mutes all non consumable items inside it. Items that drop upon death inside it will remain intact but are always muted.
It has 3 slots but really only gives 2 extra slots. the other 3 slots are for the Transmute(sell), disassemble and return to inventory buttons. (I will update with a jpg later)
It allows you to use the following items:
Potions, Healing Salves, Tangos, Wards, Magic Bottle and any consumable item not mentioned here.
It has multiple tactical advantages.
Superior Serpent Wards: 150g
Allows you to place a Serpent Ward on a target location that deals chaos damage. contains 2 charges.
Plun... Imported from the Darkspear Tribe.
Deals 50-50 chaos damage, has 2 medium armor, and 600 range. Lasts 1 minute.
You can only buy 3 stacks at a time and has a 6 min restock time.
Gives 20-35 bounty each.
Ivory Tower: 200g
Creates 1 ivory tower on a target location that has unobstructed sight and limited true sight. Each player can only have 1.
It has 1000 life, 10 fortified armor 1900/900 day/night vision, 500 true sight and regenerates at 1 life per second.
It is considered a building and therefore can be targeted by town portal.
Has a 5 second construction time.
You can only buy 1 at a time and it has a 12 min restock time. If you use another one the previous will be destroyed.
It lasts forever or until destroyed.
Gives 50-75 bounty.
Allows you to see just as far at night as you would during the day but also gives away your position to nearby enemies. Gives limited true sight. When you die while the torch is lit you will still gain vision of the area for the remainder of the duration. Has 3 charges that last 1 min per charge.
Your enemy will see you if you come within 900 range of them at night.
Gives 250 aoe true sight.
Life insurance: 500g
When you are killed by an enemy your team will be given 600 gold.
Does not cover self inflicted death, occupational hazard and stupidity.
The 600 gold is divided amongst your team. Similar to a tower being destroyed.
Killing yourself will use up the scroll but you and your team will not gain any benefits.
Has a 5 min cooldown.
Greater Clarity Potion:100g
Restores 200 mana over 30 seconds.
Its advantage over buying 2 clarity potions from the normal shops is it restores twice as much mana over the same period of time.
Condensed Healing Salve:200g
Restores 500 life over 10 seconds. and it cannot be interrupted by damage.
Its is still targeted and cannot be interrupted by damage.
Flask of Pure Mojo: 500g
Gives you double damage for 45 seconds. It will expire after not using it for 2 minutes.
It's effects are exactly the same as a bottled Double damage rune and has a 2 min Restock time.
Makes you invisible for 45 seconds with a 2 second fade time.
I'm telling you, it's in there.
It's effects are exactly the same as a bottled invisibility rune and has a 2 min Restock time.
Time Bomb: 600g
Sets a high explosive bomb on a target building or mechanical unit that causes
500 siege damage to all nearby units. Needs 1 second to arm and explodes after 5 seconds.
You wouldn't want to be anywhere near when this baby goes off.
It has a 5 min cooldown and a 1 min restock time.
It can only be targeted on buildings and mechanical units.
You can use it on friendly buildings and units as well and damages both friend or foe and it will still explode even after the target has been destroyed beforehand.
It has a 500 aoe.
It will show an ally only countdown on top of the target and it will show the countdown to the enemy after 3 seconds.
This isn't imba because of it's price, cooldown and can be prevented easily.
Mini Scout Tank: 200g
Summons a very durable mini scout tank that is immune to spells and has true sight to scout for 2mins.
It has 250 ms, 300 life, 20 heavy armor, spell immunity and true sight.
it has a 3 min restock time.
Happy Fun Rock:1000g
Trow this rock to an ally or enemy, if they have inventory space they will catch it. If not, it will drop on the ground. Deals 1 damage and a .01 second mini stun. Drops upon death.
Why is this here?
It can be thrown to both friendly and enemy heroes and deals its effects to either.
It is considered a rune-item and cannot be destroyed.
A stone shaped rune will show on the ground where it's been dropped.
It can only be bought once form either shops.
Drops upon Death.
It cannot be bottled.
Requires sense of humor.
More items and services will come soon. Right now I need some feedback.
This is one of the ideas the could have been executed another way. Can I borrow the concept and suggest another way of doing this? Will give credit of course. I don't want to meddle with what you already have so I'm creating my own.
Never mind the above bullshit I'll say it here. Why not have it move from one end of the river to the other and offer items that would be good and unique to that shop, i.e. cannot be bought any other way. I prefer these items to be unique consumables that give a surge of temporary but not imbalanced power (unlike the runes, which are powerful).
