Thank you captain obvious. You just repeated what OP said.
If you want there to be friendly-target channelling spells, head on over to the suggestions forum and either suggest one in an entirely new hero (although even if accepted it won't get in until at least 6.76 unless Ice Frog is lying when he says next patch is for balance) or to remake a hero/ability into one of these sorts of spells. |

Or troll them by sucking health of someone who just tped from base. But, I don't think it was channelling, what I remember it was like two projectiles fly between you and target.

The problem with those ally targeting channeling spells is that they don't keep the fight around them. Hence they will most likely be useless.
Anyhow, with enough imagination you can count tether and overcharge/overload(what was it called again?) as your requested channeling ally boosting ability. At least as much as you can get close to it. |

Wisp's tether is the closest thing you will get for the time being.

A support hero with a channeling skill giving the targeted ally a huge regenhp/s (like heart at lvl max) as long as it channels could be awesome and have some potential for big plays imo.

Martyr from HoN has a nice example of channeling support skill.

You guys are forgetting witch doctor's heal. It's basically what OP described except you can move while doing it.

what exactly are you going to channel that is so good that it needs chanelling time?
There's doc's heal. There's wisp's overcharge. There's wisp's tether. Usually chanelling is attributed to very valuable spells that need interrupting to be countered. What valuable ally buff are you thinking about? |

i know u guys understand, but actually he really means the channeling in the manner of staying in one place and channel. cause when described like you even chen's heal is channeled, just for 0 secs.

The normal Alchemist hero in WC3 has a channeled healing spell I think, "Healing Spray" or something. So far it hasn't been used in Dota though.

We could make a support with ridiculously long cooldowns but as an ultimate he could have a ability to make an ally enormous while he channels his spell.
Or an AoE Heal Starfall would also be nice (Lice Keeper of teh Grove's Tranquility)? Or a Channeled Demon? |

Big Bad Voodoo in normal WC3 does this. I think IF purposely changed these spells because of how easy it is to cancel them if they aren't disabling you. On the flip side, BKB would make BBV way too good. Maybe someday there will be a spell like that though, that finds a balanced middle ground.
