you see, leoric, raigor and nerub are not Int heroes. so ogre magi doesn't needs a little buff there.
with nicely performed stun and little micro attack, he can attack enemy hero with physical attack 2-3 times and do 100-150(and more) physical damage. IMO this is not the right way to fix usefulness of ogre magi. this also isn't reason why he would be picked more in competitive games. |

But you shouldn't look skills as one, because the heroes they bear those are compelely different.
Ogre Magi can either slow the enemy after fireblast, or bloodlust himself or his ally in order to catch up and finish the job, if not both. |

I don't know...
The examples you gave me are made for always single (not multicastable) skills... That's a good reason for the low starting damage... Still, the ulti will probably be learnt only on lvl6, when most magi players have it lvl 3 already... Neutral here --

Null, but do note that OM Has Ignite and MC, and would go for int...
And since the stun duration is also low, and mana cost being inefficient, I don't really start casting until FB lvl 2. |

Anyway, all of you made your point perfectly clear, so I get it. Big thanks for the feedback you gave me, guys. ![]() P.S. Where is that "report for close" button? I'm still new.

Look at your user name, see your name? Look below it, see your alien avatar? Look below it, see your Join Date? Look below it, see your number of posts? Look below it, you'll see an "on" button, look to the See that asterisk button, that's the one, now what you do is click that asterisk button, then follow instructions. A buff is nice, but we usually wait for MC before spamming it... |

There is a lot more to consider than just damage. You have to factor in cd and mana cost well. Manacost is quite cheap when it is at a low level so it is balanced. For example, you didnt note that skeleton king's stun costs 140 at all levels compared to ogre's 75 mana cost at level 1. |

^ Wait, I do that for at least most skills, if I cast damage skills on level 1, on a 1 on 1 situation, they'll most probably regen it anyway by level 4 or 5, so I just wait for more powerful levels.

Since this tweak was implemented from another suggestion, this thread is no longer needed. Reporting for close.
