Default [Remake] Death Pact


Well after playing Clinkz this afternoon, I felt that his ultimate sucks pretty bad. so, here comes the complicated remake of the well known hypocrite kanzakill

The current skill:

Proposal:
Death Pact

Makes a death pact with target unit, forcing it to accept Clinkz's deadly game.

+(Boring) Numbers:
Mana Cost: higher than current skill's
Cooldown: much longer than current skill's
Casting range: shorter than current skill's
Duration: I don't know
Allowed Targets: Any organic units


+Effects:
-On creeps: give them the status "Death Pact"
-On heroes: give them the status "Death Pact"

+"Death Pact" status:
-Units with this status will get double damage. When a unit with this status gets killed, the one who killed it will get healed based on the slain unit's health.
-Heroes with this status will get double damage, but there's a deadly condition: When a hero with this status kills a unit, he'll receive damage based on the slain unit's health.
-Numbers: 50/100/150 % x (slain unit's max hp). Damage/healing type is pure.


+(Important) Notes:
-Doesn't heal towers and siege machines
-Even enemy heroes get healed if they kill/deny the unit with "Death Pact" status
-Can be casted even on allied heroes
-If allied heroes die because of Death Pact status, it's counted as self-denying.

Nah, current is fine. Its free fountain and neutraling ability. Buffing it more will be an overkill.

Clinkz needs Strafe to be redone. That's it really. Death Pact is actually pretty solid.

He also needs a better attack anim.

I like your idea, but yea current Death Pact is textbook ladder Death Knight ability which is strong enough already. ---> Running away running away oh look a creep.... FREE HEALTH NOMNOM.

Death Pact is actually Bone's best skill. It is fine as it is because with some cheap mana regen ( Orchid ) you can spam it all you want

I love to go and eat my neighbourhood furbolg for cost of 100 mana, while getting the benefit of above 100 gold, full health, and lots of EXP.
Death Pact is seriously invaluable.

Death Pact is seriously invaluable.
Again, my bad use of words. I should have said that I pwned (or you could say "raped") some guys with this skill. And I feel that it's just too easy to use while the benefit is sooooooo big.

I told you guys not to comment yet yet you guys still did anyway it's not a buff man. It's rather a way to get rid of (boring) ladder skills (except Blink, Recall, ... of course)

Anyway there's some MAJOR changes in the suggestion.

his ultimate is WELL WORTH your skill points, with his improved searing arrows he can get last hits even easlier than b4 >

You Never have to return to base its pretty 1337.

IMO, like the current Death Pact, it really surprises enemies when they think they're gonna kill me, and then suddenly, my health's full again and proceed to pawn them.

Your remake is nice and all but this spell greatly affects bone's main current issue of surviving. In fact it only serves to worsen the problem. The concept is nice and all, but I think this skill is far from ideal for Clinkz given his low base HP and inability to take large amounts of punishment.

Although Death Pact is not that much for Bone, but it is more versatile and useful.

Your idea is very peculiar )
I think current Bone is fine: high DPS, high survivability, one escape and one healing.
The only prob that makes Bone long dead in Competitive game is he has no disable for team combat and easy to be countered with Sentry.

Not entirely true. Bone still has a major weakness and is very vulnerable of being shut down from 100% - 0%, especially with wards. A stun or a silence can be Bone's demise. Death Pact does have a limitation too, creeps have to be nearby. Given Clinkz's hunting playstyle I think the limitation is fair; Bone won't always have creeps to Pact on.

It's not a ladder skill anymore, since it's triggered. Old Death Pact could only eat allied units. It couldn't eat LVL 7 creeps, unlike the current one.

what would be very beneficial is making death pact a normal ability rather than an ultimate. his would give him great lane control.

I think the reason[s] why it's made an ultimate are because firstly, it's not exactly what makes Clinkz; Searing Arrows and Wind Walk do. Secondly, it disables his ability to stay unharmed in lanes despite his low hp.
