Through random wandering, I encountered my long forgotten idea from the contest CTI#1. Guess I will just lay it here and then leave. ALERT: smiley storm ahead |

You don't get it? Noobs would pray that they wouldn't die and pros' brains would explode because of overusing
You wouldn't know if you were dead or still healthy, had 1% or 100% hp 

can also be used as an emergency aid before the healers can heal you.

Damn, my mind exploded when I was reading all that, so complicated.
So what does it mean? Is it like Shallow Grave (Dazzle's 3rd skill)?

Very complicated After reading it a few times, this is what I got (original author of some content: kanzakill): Death Staff: --1500-----------900------------300-----------2700 Before: + 7 all stats + Ghost Form + 10% lifesteal (orb effect) After: #1.) + 8 all stats #2.) + Gains 10% received damage back to health upon being attacked #3.) + Dead Form Dead Form: Put the target into a mentally dead state, thus making it unable to sense the mortal reality. Due to that, it won't die in this state but it will receive more damage from attacks when this state ends. > When attacked: only 90% of damage is recieved due to #2 stated above. > When activated for 4 seconds (shouldn't it be higher - like 5-8?) all damage is stored up, but not recieved until the 4 seconds are over. > When the 4 seconds are over, the damage is then recieved as 144% of the original damage (??? But it would actually only be 129.6% of the damage due to the #2 stated above. ???) Reasons that it's good (Pros): - Will cause people to stop attacking you, because your HP isn't going down - Can be healed before it's over, maybe resulting in living instead of dying - Will allow you to use all your abilities, mana, and DPS before you die - Give a recipe for Ghost Scepter ![]() Cons: - Will be kind of like Orchid was cast on you - Unstoppable/Undoable once activated- - There is no way to know how much damage you are going to take - Gold could have been used on something else (not that it should have been) |

A cool and interesting item that i would like to see in DotA.
I think you can use this item really well on many different ways, witch is perfect for DotA. # You could use it just before you start TP home to base. Will make you survive the TP and get healed in base. (not dieing). # You can use it when you are at 10%hp, then the effect wont matter, if you die after its no big deal. cause you would probably die anyway. And if you survive its just good :P making you at least stand in 4sec. (making you sure). Using it at full health is just stupid. (if i got everything right). I like the Mask of Death in the item, and the Ghost Scepter. But the TelePort just just not fitting in the item concept, sorry. Shadow Grave form Dazzle is nearly the same, but this is still great and xtram cool! ![]() Over all, a nice idea and a good icon, no fancy name on the item, a nice item for dota ( fits perfect )4 / 5 stars

If a carry can activate mask of madness and armlet 4 hp from death and wipe out the team then he should go for it. T-Up if you can keep the duration short as hell (no more than dazzle's grave). Although, if you think about it, this will be like giving spectre a huge bomb once the duration is over (everybody run out of dispersion range) because if spectre accumulates a lot of damage this could hurt and this could also allow visage time to regenerate his armor. Would you consider this item imbalanced if used on those two heroes specifically?

Oh man...
The ultimate item for mind games. If I understand this correctly, any unit with this cast on them, won't know if and when they are being damaged. Basically, this item stops a hero from knowing what their ACTUAL health is XD T-up

It's a self-stun for 4 seconds, after which you recieve mroe damage.

Uhm, so you can't get stunned etc. while in this state and they can't cast spells on you, yes?
Then it would be great for supporters like Lion, which have to get their spells out quickly before dying. |
