6.77c

* Tranquil Boots disabled speed reduced from 50 to 25
* Tranquil Boots heal increased from 170 to 250
* Tranquil Boots cooldown increased from 40 to 60
* Tranquil Boots heal duration increased from 10 to 20
* Illuminate manacost increased from 150 to 150/160/170/180
* Illuminate AOE reduced from 400 to 350
* Spiked Carapace duration reduced from 2.75 to 2.25
* Spiked Carapace cooldown increased from 14 to 23/20/17/14
* Marksmanship bonus is removed when there are nearby enemy heroes (instead of just being halved)
* Reduced Marksmanship enemy detection aoe reduced from 400 to 375
* Heaven’s Halberd's Disarm is no longer dispelled by Manta
* Living Armor damage reduction is now done for all instances of damage that reduce its charges

Previous Living Armor Behavior: It would eat up charges from all damage sources, but only absorb some damage from heroes physical attacks

New Living Armor Behavior: Still eats up charges from all sources (including magic), but absorbs some damage from them as well

* Fixed a death streak bounty bug
* Fixed Fire Spirits instantly kililng Forged Spirits
* Fixed Brilliance Aura's self effect on Crystal Maiden not working properly
* Fixed some tooltips




Ancient Apparition
- Chilling Touch manacost rescaled from 140 to 110/120/130/140

Batrider
- Batrider can no longer attack while using Flaming Lasso

Bounty Hunter
- Track no longer reduces armor

Centaur
- Movement speed decreased from 305 to 300
- Double Edge no longer interrupts channeling
- Stampede now applies a 100% slow instead of a stun (as always, units cannot be slowed below 100 movement speed)

Clockwerk
- Agility growth increased from 1.2 to 2.3

Dazzle
- Shallow Grave cast range rescaled from 400/600/800/1000 to 550/700/850/1000

Doom Bringer
- Scorched Earth now also affects other units you control
- Doom now has too much armor! (+1)

Drow Ranger
- Trueshot Aura now only affects non-hero units within 900 range of Drow

Earthshaker
- Aftershock stun duration rescaled from 0.3/0.7/1.2/1.5 to 0.6/0.9/1.2/1.5
- Aftershock damage increased from 25/45/75/115 to 50/75/100/125
- Enchant Totem cooldown decreased from 6 to 5

Enchantress
- Untouchable AS reduction increased from 20/40/60/80 to 20/50/80/110

Jakiro
- Ice Path damage from 100 to 25/50/75/100

Lycanthrope
- Base Int increased from 15 to 17
- Spirit Wolves armor increased by 1

Magnus
- Skewer no longer affects magic immune units
- Skewer cast range rescaled from 1200 to 600/800/1000/1200
- Reverse Polarity duration decreased from 2.5/3.25/4 to 2.25/3/3.75

Medusa
- Stone Gaze cooldown decreased from 140/110/80 to 140/100/60

Mirana
- Moonlight Shadow duration increased from 11 to 15 seconds

Morphling
- Cast animation time decreased from 0.4 to 0.25

Necrolyte
- Reaper's Scythe stun/delay increased from 1 to 1.5 seconds

Omniknight
- Purification cast range rescaled from 400/500/600/700 to 700

Phoenix
- Sun Ray max range decreased from 1600 to 1300
- Sun Ray base damage decreased from 16/24/32/40 to 15/20/25/30
- Sun Ray now ends if you are stunned or silenced

Harpys imba

So basically its a laundry list of changes and doesn't fix any of the fundamental problems with the metagame or hero designs by the wildest imaginations, but tries to balance it via sheer numbers. Its not a step forward, but maybe a necessity

Weak heroes are given numerical buffs, strong heroes are made awkward instead of fixed
Balance should be elegant

good patch, skewer is not so good as a escape mechanism early game, drow cant push all the lanes, the only bad part is warcry is not nerfed enough

It will make 0 impact whatsoever on rooftrellan. He's still only got 300 total damage from his hero and his armor is still totally impotent as long as the breaking mechanism is the same, his ultimate is still ignorable, he's still a retarded version of tidehunter, a bland and boring hero design.


I've said in every thread on the matter, no buffs or nerfs can fix rooftrellen. Eyes in the Forest, times four. Skills that cunning.

In moderation, as temporary measures, this is a fine approach, and maybe this patch will have some good impact. I'm not condemning it, but I've been watching dota be updated since long before icefrog took over and won't be holding my breath now

From the changelog I cant see any hero that's overbuffed/nerfed thats cool but I want drow and cent in cm now the time has come imo. good update I just hope it comes with the next Dota 2 patch.

I don't understand what's so complicated about balancing Cent by removing the global aspect of his ult. Whether it's a stun or a slow doesn't matter when it still gives a team perfect initiation or perfect retreat with a click of a button.

Oh well. At least DC will become serious popcorn material for the next week or so.
