i think theres some dumb hardcoded problem with shops facing. there might be some way around it tho.

There is... Go to world editor, change 'Is a building' to 'False', change facing angel and if you like you can make it a building again. Fixed.

All the vendors should look like they're welcoming purchasers

there're just 3 vendors who look un-welcoming =)
btw, the buildings would be better the same IMO

There should be a 'steal' option, you have a chance to steal an item from the shop. If caught, you get turned into a Sacred Relic.
