Gravekeeper's Cloak
Nearby allied non-hero units that take damage will heal Visage for a percentage of the damage taken.(Passive) Level 1: 3% of damage taken. Level 2: 5.5% of damage taken. Level 3: 8% of damage taken. Level 4: 10.5% of damage taken. AOE: 800 AOE |

I like the concept ^
But %5.5 of CREEPS? that's kind of mediocre. It should be able to heal from heroes and from a little more percentage maybe %7? It would synchronize well considering the healing theme of visage. |

Firstly, I have always loved Visage. I think his model is incredibly awesome and I really liked the bonus damage and healing that he has (either from his old or current Soul Assumption)
I create custom maps sometimes and one hero I made had some similarities to Visage, so I guess I will write down his skills. His First Skill was a simple skill like Brain Sap. His Second Skill was "Shadow Trail." It would make a target leave a trail wherever they move for a short duration and any allies on the trail move faster and enemies move slower (it was really similar to Spectral Dagger) His third skill is similar to Visage's old Soul Assumption. His Ultimate caused him to gain bonus damage for 20 seconds whenever he heals. So, if he healed life (from natural regeneration, a healing item, an ability, anything else that heals) he would get bonus damage equal to a percentage of the life restored. The concept was kind of screwed over by the fact that he couldn't heal if he was at full life, and therefore his ultimate wouldn't give him any bonus damage. I hope this helps. |

Well, I just want to focus on the concept. I will let Icefrog deal with the numbers. But I guess I'll edit it to go more.

There are many heroes I would consider overhauling/changing before visage as he is a great hero, however in the light of the tanks that have become recently popular he probably needs balance changes (direct or otherwise).
If anything change his EHP multiplier that heals his allies, even with his amazing dps output this discourages focusing the carry. To compensate you should make him more dps, probably by making revenants stronger against heroes/towers but weaker against creeps (maybe change damage type) or make them less squishy early game. |

I'd really like to see some more people giving their feedback into this thread. I have always looked in the top 5 sections of the forums the most, but just never thought of actually logging in and posting until today really.
Visage is SEVERELY underplayed and will be a noob-magnet after the 6.65 release considering all the new eye-candy/abilities/heroes being implemented/changed. One thing definitely being implemented in the next version |

I would really like to see my version of Gravekeeper's Cloak because this is like the first anti-AOE.

I suggest that Soul Assumption should be buffed/remade in some way to support his tanky side. Perhaps giving him some permanent HP/regeneration when enemy hero does in xxx radius? Seems like a fine choice which partially worked for Silencer and did great magic for Pudge... would refine his role even better.
Basically, the hero concept is really good but I also agree that he`s item dependent her and something should be done to slightly change that and make him more playable in both pubs/competitive scene.

Ah, I would really like a new Visage. Hope he still retains his anti-AGI hero role.

I highly doubt that he told you directly considering he only opened this thread not too long ago. Why would he say Grave Chill will stay if this is a fresh new thread with not much feedback yet?

What I dislike about visage is that his Revenants are just too weak. Consider some of the other non-ultimate summons.
Brood's spiders come in massive numbers and have a small slow. Enigma's eldions can multiply. Lycan's wolves speed up and gain damage as he does. Beastmaster's summons provide scouting and slowing. What do visage's summmons do? Scout and add a small amount of dps. I think they should provide more usefullness than the non-ultimate summoning skills. What you could do, is center all of Visages current skills around his revenants, such that they gain benefits from all the skills like visage does. For this suggestion: Grave chill, should add MS and AS to the revenants Gravekeepers cloak should add the ability to share the damage done to visage with the revenants. A lot like Syllabears old 'ONE' ability, but passive. Soul Assumption should also boost damage for the revenants as it does for Visage. That does not require a complete remake of Visage, but it does allow for his Revenants to become more usefull.

for me Visage dont need remake...
maybe buff??? coz only less people playing him... but his theme is OK...skills are unique so OK... gameplay unique, OK again... but what makes him under-rated??? hmmm.....maybe eye-candies!!!!

Well Ice, I love Visage, one of my favorite heroes, in terms of support and basically pushing. What I just don't like about him is his lack of chase (even with the existence of Grave Chill) and synergy.
When Visage initiates with Grave Chill, he can't do much but use the damage gained from Soul Assumption and chase with his low-life Revenants. I'd like too see more of a chase-disable type of Visage that can actually do something not only in situational moments but in every situation. Visage should keep Soul Assumption, Raise Revenants and Grave Chill (but Grave Chill should have some new effects and something that gives Visage a more of an upper-edge) Diversity is one thing. Some points or stuff that need some changes: - Revenants should have their tints taken away and learn sub-skills such as one user said above saying a Stone Form (which may give some regeneration in a small AOE for a max period of seconds) or some sort of like Dirge's zombies when they die they will heal Visage. Because for one thing, Visage is underrated, underused and basically under everything. - Gravekeeper's Cloak making Visage extremely item-dependent. With GC, Visage becomes so item-dependent and cannot be skill dependent (I've seen numerous Visage players that go straight for meka-pipe-HoD), being damaged only benefits the ones around him and not him, which is sad on his part, but Visage is no tank, even if others suggest that he is. I see a definite remake here on GC or a slight buff. - A movespeed buff. 285 for a flying spirit? I mean... shouldn't he be a 522 MS hero? I mean... he's a freaking ghost, haha. No... Maybe some sort of 20-25 MS buff would be nice. Sorry for being such a bitch, but I'd really like to state my voice out loud. I hope I didn't offend or be too nosy and annoying.

I also agree with most of the comments here
![]() Make him be more effective to his team and still viable solo mid. I'm so excited for what will happen to one of my favorite heroes!

Read all the above comments.Seems like everyone agrees on one point. To keep him in his role as anti-AGI dpser. But i think Visage gets too much damage early game from Soul assumption. And Raise revenants is not so cool for ultimate. So why dont we swap them??
Let the revenants be more weak like Enigma's Eidolons and Soul assumption goes as ultimate with some damage buff.It prevents him from getting too much damage early and makes him more suited for his early pushing role. This is the new soul assumption i thought of: Soul Assumption(Ultimate): The necrolic consumes every soul that dies around him for a brief period of time. The souls regenerate him and give him bonus damage.Creeps give +4 damage while heroes give +20 damage.Aghaims upgradeable. Level 1:Max of 6 souls. Level 2:Max of 12 souls. Level 3:Max of 20 souls. With Aghaims:No limit for souls consumed. A soul can be consumed for 1 min or in case of heroes till he respawns. This would make sense since he becomes more tanky but also retains his DPS potential.
