Default [Centaur Warchief] Return remake


Current Return:

The Centaur Warchief immediately counters every attack against him with a swift strike.
12.5/25/37.5/50 physical damage when the enemy begins an attack, affecting towers.

Skill, used for neutral farming long time ago. Now it is useless.
- If you go forest, it is impossible to farm anything sufficient for time you waste on this.
- If you go laning, it is even more senseless to learn it, cause you'll need maxed Hoof Stomp and Double Edge.
- Learning it late game is useless too.

So it could be remade or buffed.

Suggested Return:

1. (remake)

The presence of Centaur Warchief damages every enemy unit per second.
5/10/15/20 damage per second in 250/300/350/400 AoE



*does not affect not agressive to CW neutrals

Radiance makes 40 damage in 650 AoE

2. (buff)

The Centaur Warchief immediately counters every attack against him with a swift strike.
25/45/65/75 physical damage when the enemy begins an attack, affecting towers.


3. (remake)

The presence of Centaur Warchief damages every enemy unit per second.
1/2/3/4 damage per every 8% HP lost by CW every second in 250/300/350/400 AoE
(20% HP left = 10/20/30/40 damage per second in AoE)

1. Yes, free Radiance for Centaur.
Helps in neutral/lane farming, laning, chasing enemy, pushing and ganking.
Stacks with Radiance and makes much damage per second in AoE.

But it will fully fit new ganking/fast pushing DotA and bring back such handsome character like CW.

2. Yes, numbers are noticeably higher than before. But this return-x-damage-per-hit isn't such a good concept for a skill. Still you can easy farm in forest or push towers with team assistment.

I dont think Return needs a remake, rather a minor change in its late-game effectivity. The skill is good and original enough and the concept is good as it is.

Wow, what an buff . . . I think Centaur isn't ready for such an free radiance/heartstopper buff . . .

I think Return should be .25.5.75 1 x his str returned each hit.

just imagine, clinz with strafe or maybe even windrunner with ulti. yeeehaw.
your concept and thread starters radiance concept are impossible to balance with the game just with increase/decrease numbers.

to spice up radiance concept i thought of something like this.

based on damage recived for past 4/5/6/7 seconds you return 2% of that damage in aoe to enemies per second.

that synergies with stomp, after you are dealt damage you stun them so they recive it back (stun preventing them to go away). double edge too, it pumps up returning damage and ulti ofc, more HP.

numbers.

say you cast double edge and recive 400 dmg. you will return 8 damage per second in aoe for 7 seconds(lvl4).

catch my idea?

so lets say you cast double edge, and recive linas and lions ulti, for a total of 2400 damage.

next 7 seconds you will return 42 damage per second to enemies in aoe.
