* Tranquil Boots disabled speed reduced from 50 to 25
* Tranquil Boots heal increased from 170 to 250
* Tranquil Boots cooldown increased from 40 to 60
* Tranquil Boots heal duration increased from 10 to 20
* Illuminate manacost increased from 150 to 150/160/170/180
* Illuminate AOE reduced from 400 to 350
* Spiked Carapace duration reduced from 2.75 to 2.25
* Spiked Carapace cooldown increased from 14 to 23/20/17/14
* Marksmanship bonus is removed when there are nearby enemy heroes (instead of just being halved)
* Reduced Marksmanship enemy detection aoe reduced from 400 to 375
* Heaven’s Halberd's Disarm is no longer dispelled by Manta
* Living Armor damage reduction is now done for all instances of damage that reduce its charges
Previous Living Armor Behavior: It would eat up charges from all damage sources, but only absorb some damage from heroes physical attacks

New Living Armor Behavior: Still eats up charges from all sources (including magic), but absorbs some damage from them as well

- NO PL NERFS????COME ON ICEFORGGGGG???? This hero is total Bullshit!


Appreciate the balances though ALOT...

-Nyx needed that, might need a bit more of a nerf, its not the CD of that spell its the fact of how many instances it cant reflect in that 2.5 seconds. It should be a maximum of 3 in total rather than 1 from each hero..

- KOTL nerf - i think this hero is finally balanced now

-Drow nerf - althought it might be a bit too heavyy of a nerf - she kinda becomes now useless with a hero next to her? lol... Its a good "temporary fix" but needs to reworked for a full fix

-Tranquil boots, buffed/nerfed at the same time ill just call it reworked.... Its becoming a real risk/reward type of item now, however I dont know if its a good idea to make the hero get a "slow debuff" when hit over the instances, interesting to see how this one plays out in game..


Thanks Icefrog for nerfing some of the MOST OP heroes in the game, I was REALLY hoping for some PL notes but got none... Hopefulyl 6.78 comes out within a month at the max with a good PL nerf.

Nothing much to see, overnerfed TB, overnerfed Drow, a bit of nerfs on KotL and NA, and a fix for HH and Living Armor.

Drow was slaughtered wow. She was ok, she's now useless in higher skill settings.
Nyx and ezalor are relatively unchanged. Nerfed yeah, but nothing big.
Tranquil were hugely nerfed. Much worse regen over time, and more easily dispellable (but slightly less mana intensive). Also TB are now garbage if they are disabled. Not sure how i feel about such a rework, i would have liked something else, but still they needed a nerf.

Organized shop layout (ala Sena the Accesorizer)
More unique +dmg items (BoA ,Broadswoard & Claymore)
Items and recipes are more logical and intuitive
Hammer is the old Javelin (the %chance fits naturaly in Basher + Mael)
Desolator is now made from swords
and more!

Well. Drow has officially died with this patch. This nerf is HUGE. Now the hero just has 3 skills.
Tranquil boots are now USELESS and NERFED TO death.
I didn't expect icefrog to fuck up the game like the debs of other games do.

Nyx nerf is too small imo, he will still get picked every game.

Kotl nerf wont change much, he may rush arcane boots now and still be good

Trax nerf is huge, she's trash now, there's no way that someome will let her stay out of range for free dmg, she'll always be main target in any real game. Basically she's now useful only for split pushing but nowhere close to Lycan or furion because she lack escape mechanism.

Halberd will become much more useful, especially against AM

Trasq nerf will affect only certain heroes

Treant buff is rather small but welcome




The biggest surprise for me is:

a) lack of PL nerfs
b) lack of Gyro nerfs

Well now Tranquils are stronger in jungle so Dark Seer will be fapping at this changelog, also I think that the only way of saving Drow would be to reduce the detection AoE to 275.

Apart from the harsh nerfs to Tranquil Boots, I like the new content in this patch.

However, I am surprised not to see any nerfs being done to Phantom Lancer... not sure why that is.

Stronger in jungle because they cost slightly less mana/minute to keep the regen up. Seriously no. I don't like the fact those boots are just useless for supports now as you can't effectively engage in midgame with those or get trashed and have to upgrade them. But what the fuck should upgrade boots into? Better keep those brown boots forever now, while carry now go TB into Treads gg.

So Tranquil is a lot less viable on non-junglers (big Luna nerf, even though I kinda like the change). Also, lol@ people saying PL wasn't nerfed, good luck surviving against enemy harass now

KotL is basically the same..

Nyx got a minor nerf..

I don't get the Manta nerf...

Living Armor is still mostly useless


Magnus still has ridiculously low mana costs (90mana shockwave against 140+ mana for DK Fire Breath and Krob Swarm)
Bat is still ridiculous. Not impressed, hope .78 comes soon

I think it's a necessary buff to Heaven's Halbert, as it gets redundant very fast in an organized environment when carries almost always get BKB or Manta.

As the item is not offensive enough for carries to buy, and too expensive for most supports except KOTL and a few others, it's hard to justify it's worth despite the good concept.

Tranquil boots nerf was completely justifiable and needed given the original vision of them as jungling/roaming boots. It's a hard hit for carries who abused the awesome regen early game but it doesn't change much for junglers, in fact it's a slight buff for them early but forces them to dissasemble them once they're out of the jungle.

A good step in nerfing overbuffed hp regen in general.

And people saying "Not nerf for PL?" While PL needs Tranquils badly for a big piece of the game, also heroes like DK approve of this, finally we will see new junglers, but fr the previous ones it won't change a thing.
