Is it really necessary? Some others already know that, and newbs can just check out the site.

The thing that matters the most for me, is the damage order calculation, because most other stuff is easy to remember. If we could stick the orb effects chart that would be great, but I think that one may not be so simple, same with the linken/purge list.

Some more:
-The 1% regeneration from Heart will not stack with another Heart -Only damage higher than 40 with Batrider as the source will be amplified by Sticky napalm -Leoric's Reincarnation can only be stopped by: not having enough mana, skill on CD, and being on un-pathable terrain. Nothing else. -Cleave skills stack completely, each one with its own AoE. You get the idea, the typical questions asked in mech forum. Pretty much anything from this amazing thread: LINK |

Why not just add a command like: -tipsplus (-tp) that would display a tip like "MKB-s active ability True strike disables Geminate Attack" every X seconds...
/support in both cases...

Isn't the: Orb effects do not stack Buff placers do not stack Clear enough? Tips concerning only one heroes/item shouldn't be called general rules. Quote:

I think the main problem is that new players do not know what an "orb" or a "buff" is, and so it means nothing to say "orb effects do not stack". They also won't know what "proc" means, so saying that only the last acquired proc will work also means nothing...

That info is so helpful and useful at the same time. Most of the players don't know about most of the simple mechanics rules, so I'll give a huge T-UP on this.

ppl playing dota since more than 1 years oftent doesn't know wich are typical builds and usages. For exemple in pub, 80%+ of destro take orb before astral and buy bloodstone early game (if they can, they beggin to feed fast, wich is so lame with the best lvl1 hero on paper). So I would not be surprise if some casuals don't understand difference between orb and buff placer...
Maybe the solution is to make a noob version with alt tab miniguide inside of the map. Should not take so much place and solves some issues. Or to write the adress of the site at game start. (playdota.com: guides/mechanisms/community)
