No, it is not practically codeable, I am quite sure about that.
Might be possible if you give the hero active abilities to turn on/off the autocast, but that's definitely NOT the way to go.

![]() From what I can see, most heroes with autocast-skills don't have an extra icon (the exception is Puck, which can have its bonus attribute icon removed) Why? ![]() I thought that Morphling was the easiest Thanks

Morphling have 5 active skills and only 1 free icon slot
X X X X X o o + w e _ r 2 of them have autocast, so need 2 slots for subskills... |

![]() Those two skills work ONLY if they are activated. Why don't we make the skill to activate itself?

ITT: Everyone demonstrates that most people know nothing about coding and yet still continue to try and make a fool of themselves one way or another.
Personally I'm in favour of this if it's actually doable.

![]() Thank you a lot. What I can see is that people aren't going to reply to this thread because its title has "autocasting"

Can't you make autocastable spells toggleble like medusas split shot?
You get a sub-skill that switches it on/off |

Sure. Also, a test map is provided. /facepalm If Stopm doesn't mind it would be advisable to include the testmap in the first post. |

Setback: I've tested the testmap, and as you can see there the active ability to turn autocast on/off cancels channeling spells and invisibility. If there is a workaround for this I'll t-up.

edit: I'll put this in my The impossible made possible box.
