Default [ANIMATION] Expulsion


Introduction

Essentially, this topic is suggesting a simple visual improvement to Pit Lord's Expulsion skill, which explodes corpses in the area and damages enemy units in the area.

The Problems with the Current Animation

1. The skill looks hardly damaging at all--the corpse just tears into small pieces and burns with weak flame streaks, and we expect that this is causing the units within range to receive moderately heavy damage and get ministunned?

2. What's more is that the explosion looks like it only affects enemies in about 150 AoE, but it actually ministuns and damages enemies in a whooping 400 AoE away! Talk about having psychic powers!

The Changes

1. A bigger, more resounding corpse exploding animation:
Play the death animation of Abilities\\Weapons\\DemolisherFireMissile\\Demolis herFireMissile.mdl together with the current "corpse burning up" animation at locations where a corpse blows up.

2. Pieces of flesh fly to hit affected units, causing the ministun and dealing the damage to them upon impact:
The current ministuns that Expulsion causes are caused by dummy units on top of affected units casting invisible Storm Bolt spells on them. With this change, these dummy units just need to be positioned at the centre of the explosion and given a missle art of Abilities\Weapons\MeatwagonMissile\MeatwagonMissil e.mdl (Meat Wagon missile), together with a missile speed of 600 (too high a missile speed will make the missile unnoticable, as they travel only a maximum of 400 range) and a missile arc of 0.2.

Looks good, but the remaining crater looks bad. Try using Volcano missile, it doesn't leave a crater behind. Still T-up for it!

Corpse projectile bouncing on a unit to show a mini-stun? Reminds me of a wight corpse parts hitting a unit to inflict a stun in the games Myth: The Fallen Lords and Myth 2: Soulblighter.

Yes I go for this visualization. It makes the game better so T-UP!!!

I like that the crater shows where the corpse once was

I like the old one cause no one ever notices it happening in teamfights. :P

But anyway, yeah I guess this is actually a better cosmetic. TUp.
