[ANIMATION] Heat Seeking Missile, Rocket Flare

Hello Guys

Back with New Animation Suggestions For Heat Seeking Missile & Rocket Flare Explosion Animation.. Since Both of the Skills are Powerful.. they should have an Animation that shows how Powerful they are.. specially as we all knows that Missiles & Rockets don't Blow Up without Explosions..

Heat Seeking Missile Suggestion

Since this Skill goes from Tinker to Another hero... So Most of the Time it Doesn't Target the Ground... So what im proposing is to add this effect upon giving damage to the hero as an explosion so the missile explodes in the air !

Rocket Flare

as for this Skill too.. it only Shows some glowing glitches on the ground showing that there was a rocket that exploded seconds ago.. but in fact it need a better explosion animation on the ground heres what im proposing

Nice suggestion, looks good on the pics but needs a testmap.

for the second suggestion: Does it indicate the AoE of the skill?

this for Heat seeking missile, and the other for the rest ^^ since Heat seeking missile is for hitting single targets, and rocket flare hits a huge AoE

Gotta love explosions, but I think the effect is a little big for a low cooldown spell like HSM.

No Buddy.. the one on the ground should be for Rocket Flare since it Hits Ground.. But the Other Image shows an Explosion in AIR so i guess this one is for Rocket Flare

Thanks.. yea i know it needs a testmap but im not good at making one !

I don't think Heat Seeking missile needs such an effect, but another effect for Rocket Flare would be nice (and missile, too!

Abilities\Weapons\RocketMissile\RocketMissile.mdl

for example...). But the explosions seem to strong. First model could fit for Rocket Flare, but I'd prefer this ingame model:

The Heat Seeking Missiles one is a bit overdone, isn't it? Not sure of the Rocket Flare, the current animation suits it, for it is weak. IMO, irrespective of bursting in the air, you ought to put the Rocket Flare suggestion for HSM. I'd T-up for sure then.

i like what i see for rocket flare but i dont know about Heat seeking missile.

i guess we have to wait until actual test map is made to see what it actually looks like in-game. I have to say this got some potential.

I think the second animation is already ingame (Techies Landmines) so I think it would reduce the MSI.

Agreed. Theese effects don't make it look like Wc3 anymore , it makes it look more like HoN.

The current effect for HSM is fine, but RF needs a better animation with huger aoe.
