Default Divine Rapier = Gem?

Since Gem of Truesight has that gem-like shape when dropped, why don't give Divine Rapier a sword-like shape when dropped?

I'm no good at editing pics, so if someone kind enough to give the sample of the sword-like shape pls share.

Best suggestion so far

Gem is a model in the WC3 game and when you drop something there isn't one that looks like a sword AFAIK

Not exactly, but it seems really unprecedented. I liked the gem idea because it was a gem, an attractive jewel, but a sword does not look too pretty.

-300th post! ^_^

Yeah well, but we can always make an attractive sword don't you think?
And also, who wouldn't be attracted to a sword that gives +200 dmg?

Unfortately, I don't know if our crew knows to make models. AFAIK they only know to make tags.

When I play in pubs, they don't even notice that my gem dropped... so I walk back and reclaim it. I like the gem idea, but it's *hard* to see it on the sentinel side if you're not paying attention...

Divine has no better shape item model on ingame but importing an item model with better look could be better.

i didnt know about the gem change until my teammate told me :
hey pick it up!
Me : where?
He: On the circle!!
I looked at the circle and found it. It wasnt too obvious if u didnt pay enough attention. I think it needs a modification to make it more visible.

Golden sword on the ground is an awesome idea.

it's gotta be a short stumpy sword... if it was following the actual sword proportions, it'll be

a) too small and hard to notice (if you keep it at an uninvasive size that current item drops are)
b) fking long and annoying invasive (because it is a LONG object, as opposed to an almost cubic object that the current item-drop and gem is)

Even so, i think that a sword-shaped thing is better than treasure chest thing, don't you agree?

IIRC, i think i have seen this sword-like model on the ladder..

We can use the Frostmourne Place in WC3 RoC when Arthas pick it.Maybe change the divine Rapier to the Frostmourne too?If anyone die when he has a divine rapier, make a dummy unit to create a building like that.

Yeah i think Frostmourne is the fit model. But we don't want the pedestal aren't we? Can we make it just sword stabbing at the ground?

@changing Diviner Rapier to Frostmourne: Not a good idea IMHO, Frostmourne is LoA's Skills, would be better to recolor this model of Frostmourne to Divine Rapier's color
