Thumbs up [GAMEPLAY]Auto Self Casting and Double Clicks


Hi all it's been a while since I've made a suggestion. Hope you all like this one.

When 6.66 went out we were once again given something new to the game. Specifically the double click effects for TP and force staff. double clicking TP automatically ports you to the fountain and double clicking force staff makes you cast it on yourself. These new chances are very convenient and saved me a lot of times. So I suggest that we take things a few steps further.

I've made a little compilation of things that are ideal for the double click self casting.

It's more of a compilation really. I just want to point out the things that are most suited for the double click mechanics. Hope you all find this useful. And please do comment if you stop by.

Well, those items are great for auto self casting. I'm not sure how would it feel when using heroes skills, but I guess it's the same.Anyway, it's a T-UP.

P.S. I'm wondering why Icefrog didn't make more auto cast items/skills at first place.

I agree with most of them but I disagree with some

The one I disagree is the one that can bring "negative" effects like bloodrage, repel, eul, astral and nightmare. They can be simply misclicked and bring negative effect to the user and I don't want that.

Even it is misclicked, it won't make you dead since it makes you escape.

True misclicking is a problem to some of the listed things up there. But that mistake is entirely the players fault, or perhaps some unlucky malfunction. But the convenience of having double click on most of the skills and items is just too good to pass up. So maybe I'll just sort the questionable items and skills for the implementation of double click.

Also, you missed nightmare (I stated above), x-mark (rarely used on self though), BLINKS (like dagger maybe?)

I'm not aware or I forgot but does dagger blink you towards your base when double clicked? Also I want to thank NoThlnG for pointing out somethings I missed.

iirc. blinks you toward the last place you picked the dagger up???

maybe make it toggle-able via message commands?
like -disablehelp
make it. -disabledoubleclick.

Items in shops have a very short cooldown to avoid double-buyiing them due to lag/spike. same goes for items and skills imo. Though this method simplifies things, it leaves more room for error.

im pretty sure its not possible to cast spells on spells. also bot are hardcoded and its probably not possible to implement double clicking on them either.

T-Up for sure. Principally for Eul that i often use.
I wonder if it's codeable for skills.
And you should really add Alacrity(Invoker).
