Default [Remake]Headshot


First off, Headshot is a very dull skill, and the only nice thing about it is the ministun. Sniper desperately needs a buff, so I thought of an idea.

Sniper always aims at the legs of the opponents, causing them to slow down, and eventually snap into pain.

Level 1
Sniper's attack slows his opponent by 10%. If the opponent is attacked again in 3 seconds since his first attack, it will be slowed additionally by 3%. When this stacks 4 times, the opponent will be damaged by 30 with a ministun.

Level 2
Sniper's attack slows his opponent by 10%. If the opponent is attacked again in 3 seconds since his first attack, it will be slowed additionally by 5%. When this stacks 4 times, the opponent will be damaged by 50 with a ministun.

Level 3
Sniper's attack slows his opponent by 10%. If the opponent is attacked again in 3 seconds since his first attack, it will be slowed additionally by 7%. When this stacks 4 times, the opponent will be damaged by 75 with a ministun.

Level 4
Sniper's attack slows his opponent by 10%. If the opponent is attacked again in 3 seconds since his first attack, it will be slowed additionally by 10%. When this stacks 4 times, the opponent will be damaged by 100 with a ministun.

Buff Placer
EXPLANATION

When the enemy is attacked first, he is slowed by 10% for 3 seconds. If he is hit again during the duration, additional slow will be applied. If he is hit 4 times in total during the 3 seconds intervals, he will be damaged and ministunned.

PROS
*Yehey, a Sniper buff!
*More gank potential and DPS.
*Still retains the ministun.
*Can be synergized with Shrapnel.

CONS
*Too IMBA?
*Less ministun potential than the original skill.

Numbers can always change.

Wow.... Nice idea... but numbers need tweaking as sniper can easily land +2 hits per second = 50dps + constant 20% slow. T-UP on concept T-Down on numbers. =)
EDIT: Not saying sniper is strong (he's below mediocre if u ask me), but this might make most pubbers consider him "URSAIMBALIKE" thus making another sub-forum Sniper Pubber Crying Forum.
Serious -> This might be a little too much now that i rethink it as he already has shrapnel's 40%.

TOO imba if combined with his third skill >:3
He has tons of range.Why give him a SLOWING orb too? It's unfair.Even though he is fragile.
It would be cool to change it with his 3rd skill though..and add some extra range to the model

Good idea but Imba much lol. You can attack hero's from woods with his Range. So having a slow is kind of Imba man. But i do like what you are talking about, good idea.

NO NO NO NO !!!!!!!!!!! no orb effects skills for sniper. I dont care what kind of skill it is, it ruines playstyle of sniper with Mom, dominator, maelstorm, difusial, desolator ......

So you guys think it's kinda imba?

Well I was just thinking about Broodmother's slow, since he has plenty of speed and no collision size due to the web, and his slow is like constant 40% with some minor damage boost and blind. But Broodmother is still a balanced hero(aside from her uber pushing power).

As I stated above, it can be a nerf to Sniper in some way, because he can't use an orb effect item anymore due to this skill.

No orb effect for my hero.Sniper needs orb items to make him a better playstyle and Headshot is the sources of his Dps..

Don't really like it much, Cause I'm one of them guys who uses orb effect items on Sniper in my case either Deso or Skadi. He already have a good slow with Sharpnel, and its too imba if your gonna add another slow + ministun to His passive. In conclusion, too imba.

I'd like to note that Legshot sounds too lame. However the skill will make alot of players go for full attackspeed items.

the idea is good
but its too imba and synergizes well with shrapnel
but you cant get Lifesteal cause its now an orb effect.....
i think i go for null at this moment

concept? sure. Remove the 2nd effect and it would be balanced.

What about if they attack past 4 hits? does the counter reset? or % chance like original

Good question, the counter resets and the target gains its normal speed back after the mini-stun.

Instead of a slow, put a armor reducer orb/passive on him.

Like

For every instance of damage felt by the target, it loses its armor.

Level 1 : .0625 armor lost per hit
Level 2 : .125 armor lost per hit
Level 3 : .25 armor lost per hit
Level 4 : .5 armor lost per hit

This triggers off any and all damage sources, not necesarily sniper. Wat say you?

Uh, if it's passive, this skill would force him to go Deso. If it's orb, this is too much like Ursa's.

lolwhat name is so so bad.
tho the ministun is indeed useful plus the slow was Shrapnels job.
think of it AoE slow enemy trying to get away while you ministun him to prevent him from getting away from the Shrapnel
