Default [IMPLEMENTED] Unit training animation on raxes


(I have tried searching for this in this forum - if it is a duplicate please close/delete it)

(This is ripped from my Potential'ed topic in the old DA forums here and since it is inactive since 2008 I figured I'll post it here instead)

The unit-producing buildings (Crypt, Temple of the Damned, Ancient of Lore and Ancient of War) in the game appear inactive even though creeps still spawn. To make the game look more realistic, lifelike, maybe we can have the unit-production buildings play their "training" animation 15 5 seconds before each creepwave spawn.

The animations are the default unit-training animations of those models (a common sight in WC3 ladder), so there is no mapsize increase.

As for units mysteriously popping up after raxes are destroyed, it has always been that way =)

Maybe 15 seconds too much? Maybe something like 5.

I agree with Cp6uja, 15 seconds is too much. 5 seconds is enough though.

T-up. Makes DotA's creep spawning a little more believable.

I don't think so... with 5 secs you would know when creeps are coming exactly, while raiding opponent's base, etc...

I like the idea!
