psst, check out my new suggestion on Assassinate and my other new suggestion on Shrapnel

Don't mind the Scatter Shot, since sharpnel is still new.

Casting range: 1100, min 600.
Prodigious Accuracy [Passive-Toggle] Buff-Placer
Kardel make modifications to his rifle, enhancing the range of his rifle and his rifle skills. Gives a chance to deal a chosen status with each attack.

Level 1 - 15% chance. Increase Sight & Attack Range by 65.
Level 2 - 20% chance. Increase Sight & Attack Range by 130.
Level 3 - 25% chance. Increase Sight & Attack Range by 195.
Level 4 - 30% chance. Increase Sight & Attack Range by 260.


- Deals a status via "Toggling" -
Arms - Slows victim attack speed by 30%. Last 4 seconds.
Legs - Slows victim movement speed by 20%. Last 4 seconds.
Head - Deals pure damage.
Body - Stuns for a short period of time(0.2).
Note that "Critical"(Crystalys/Buriza) doesnt stack with Prodigious Accuracy because Prodigious Accuracy uses "Critical" concept, where highest amount of damage is the most priority. Means "Head" and Critical(Crystalys/Buriza) is not Pure Damage Critical.

Assassinate [Self-Buff]
Take time to draw a bead, and then deal a large amount of damage to the target at a huge range. Gains Aim and Shoot.

Level 1 - Deals 450% damage @ Level 6 - 340.2(no item/bonus stat)
Level 2 - Deals 500% damage @ Level 11 - 443(no item/bonus stat)
Level 3 - Deals 600% damage @ Level 16 - 609.6(no item/bonus stat)

Cooldown: 20 seconds
Manacost: 175/275/375
Casting Time: 1.7/1.6/1.5


Assassinate Sub-Skill
Aim - Aims at an enemy, gaining sight of it.
1000/1500/2000 Casting Range
Shoot - Attack aimed unit for 1 shot dealing normal damage.
Cooldown 0.5 second

Shrapnel, Explain.
Shrapnel works like the current version with added 'still hurts and slows for 4 seconds even when ran out of the AoE'.

Why does Headshot #2 have a cooldown, manacost, casting range?
Headshot is an active ability, not an Orb-Walking abilty. Oh and it still retains the current passive ability.


Take Aim increases Casting Range too? IMBA.
He takes Aim. Duh? that doesnt increase casting range? only attack range? doesn't make sense, right? I know it's not about realistic.

Assassinate Scepter Upgrade is boring.

This suggestions are IMBA

I like Prodigious Accuracy has many effects , i dont like the grenade spell.
maybe make a replacement with +range and an effect?
first spell knockback or stun not both .

the burning part is the -25%MS, and the blind part is Whitescreen..WHOLESCREEN.cant even see mini-map. for support/esc mech

I really liked the parts take aim,it has awesome synergy.Hey,how about make it a togle ability which makes sniper aim :
-head or
-legs or
-arms
So you decide which part you want to maim!!

Also,I like the assasinate idea,but maybe add the bonus status as damage?Even if they deal half of the primary damage?

Shrapnel need a buff on:
- Give vision
- Longer casting range
- Lower mana cost

The random status is a good suggestion to replace Headshot.

Take Aim should modify into toggle on/off with longer range and higher attack speed, but having penalty in movement speed.

I change headshot and assassinate so it synergies.
Assassinate is like a normal attack, so it can do orb/buff placer.

Ah, is it possible to toggle that much?

Nice lol,I bet Icefrog will love the toggling ability

I'm not sure about scatter shot though..I think you should "simply" buff it to deal 30% slow all levels.That way it is much more viable even in early game (even though the dps sucks).Either case,what do you mean how it should work o.O Are you asking synergy suggestion or mechanic suggestion!

E:/ Also you're buffing assasinate in a good way,because now he can see the enemy ...but how much range for the telescope?Also,how much interval between aiming and shooting?Did you improve that as well?
As a final remake I suggest you keep scatter and take aim as they are currently in 6.61c,but buff with toggle ability take aim and assasinate as you write...I don't think Icefrog is planning on changing scatter shot any year from now {-<

didnt change casting time/range
I only change how Assassinate works and added 2 sub-skill, which is an improvement.

Aim then Shoot = less than a second?
while Direct Assassinate has 1.7 casting time @ level 1.

Should i make a seperate suggetion or Ice can take whatever he likes?

Asking for a mechanic suggestion on scatter btw. would be awesome if can Headshot with Shotgun.

That's what I thought too.but it is good people know that and it isn't lame to copy paste the sniper description in heroes section

Sorry,but I can't help you with mechanics,however I can help you with this: Don't remake Scattershot,it is a waste of time.Only reworks/buffs/balances can be considered valid points for Icefrog (trust me,Icefrog doesn't like changing something remade for at least 1 year!!)

i like this suggestion, cause Assassinate scales untill late game.
Headshot now deals various type of status.
Able to run into forest? Like Spectre is it?(:
Altho i still like the burst damage from old Scattershot T__T cant icefrog combine the old and new?

thx for the support guys, but is anyone able to make a test map for this? ofcourse, if you're busy..its okay. ^^

okay, for those who dont understand new Assassinate. it buffs you for one attack.
and the sub skill is an extended firing range. so, you'll be able to use it to harras or wtv you like..downfall for using sub skill is, that you'll be standing there like a dwarf on stick.
upperhand is, you gain sight of the unit .

okay, guys..should i make a safety lock for the assassinate? cause there'll be alot of misfire, like shooting a creep with assassinate buff accidently.

The safety will work like this -

-it only end the buff if you use it on enemy via Aim & Shoot.

Like the idea of Scatter shot being more gun like in effect rather than a grenade type ability. Just give it insta damage and a knockback/mini-bash in a cone and rename it Shotgun or Blusterbus blast.
