Start Testing: 1.24b + 6.62 Final 1

A new blizzard patch has been released on the test realm. Download this patch and then download 6.62 Beta 9.

We need lots of full games on this. Either do your own games or join ones that some people will be advertising in this forum.

Update: Here is the latest map Final 1. This is the map you should use for further testing. "Final xx" labels usually mean that the map has no beta notations and is in a ready to release state barring any bug reports.

We are getting very close to release now, try to find bugs in the new code!

If you guys don't have time for a full game, small mini tests like we did before 1.24 would be also good.

I can't get it started... no error msg, it pretends it starts but get me back to the map 2-3 seconds later, anyone else getting this?

Nope, starts fine for me, I assume you downloaded 1.24b from Westfall? Cause I don't know what else could be the problem.

No sorry, you need 1.24b which you can only get from Westfall on Battlenet (as far as I know)

You should be able to use them just fine. They were a result of 1.24 hashtable bugs. I tested them briefly in 1.24b and they work.

That's good news. Hopefully, there aren't nearly as many bugs are there used to be. Keep up the outstanding work.

When I try to download the patch from Westfall I get an error message, it just says Update failed. Means that I can´t download the patch currently at all (attention this has nothing to do with missing registry entries or something like that).

We should make an official channel for beta-testing on test realm to gather up people fast.
edit: I just saw Icefrog posting that channel beta should be used, corrected.

Some bugs probably might just occour when there are alot of players currently in the game. Also you can test if multiplte heroes are working fine in one game.
