Default [Hero]Bone Fletcher


Bone Fletcher
Problems on Bone:
- He has low HP, low mana, and low dps
- He needs HP, mana, and dps item (unlike Viper and SF that only needs HP/survival item)
- He cant farm well
- easily kill by nuke and disable
- Bad attack animation
- WW should be a gank skill, but he suck in ganking
- Searing arrow is a joke compare to Poison Attack (48 dmg + 40% slow), Necromastery (+60 dmg, passive), and Empower (+60% dmg, last 30 sec)

What he needs:
- fix his mana problem
- improve his ganking ability
- give him at least one slow/stun/silence/disable

Yeah. I agree with your explanation. At the top

"SUPER~~~" poor attack animation, it's like a human archer. Draws the arrow then shoot. Compare to other arrow based animation (trax and mirana). Slow missile speed also but not a problem

About his hp and mana. Yay thats another problem .. It sucks, get zeus then this bone is owned.

And his ulti sux. It prevents you from going home though but not that useful. Compared to some ulti. Like infest of Naix. Low mana cost, cooldown. And make you invisible

Bolded the parts that are fixed by orchids, which should be your first item after treads, no exceptions. Oh look, half of your arguement's fallen apart already.

If the other team is disable heavy, the next items is bkb after your orchids. Fixes both hp and disable problems.

It's also an orb skill, which means you can use it in lane without creeps jumping your ass. Try that with Empower.

The arrow idea is just too imbalanced!! T-DOWN for that!!
Also the suggested ultimate is like Abaddon's ultimate... and not really better than the current one, cause you still need a creep for that... what is if it automatically choose a low hp creep? Hahaha pure fail!!

Only the first ability is great... rework your suggestion...

The Searing Arrows is too much. It costs almost nothing but does both what his old Searing and Drow's Cold Arrow does AND IT EXPLODES.

The reason BF never had a disable was because his skill combination of Searing + Strafe is deadly on unwary heroes.

The reason he is paper thin is because you need both a disable and True Sight to kill him. Unlike SA or BH, his invisible grants him monstrous speed. So if you're planning to make him less paper, nerf his escape mechanism.

The Ultimate, what happens when the creep dies?

Some neat ideas in here, though I don't agree with buffing Fletcher so much. Consider all of the direct buffs he's already received lately, ontop of all the buffs suggested here. Way over the top.

Strafe: I'd prefer the burst IAS over the Nethertoxin-esque approach. Gives Fletcher more control. Plus having a passive 40% IAS at all times would be way too strong combined with the current Searing Arrows, let alone the suggested Searing Arrows remake.
It's clever though because it fixes his clunky attack animation in a way.

Searing Arrows: Holy moses, too many buffs on an already amazing skill. Let's run it down:
  • The 200 AoE won't have much effect outside of farming, pushing and counter-pushing. Clinkz has farming covered already and doesn't need a strong pushing skill.
  • If I understand correctly, the slow effect would take place after Clinkz stops using Searing Arrows on a target for four seconds. It would be kind of neat to pepper multiple targets for the slow and bonus explosion damage, but focus fire is at the hero's core.
  • It would give him too much lane control. The current iteration of Searing Arrows has already been buffed significantly in this regard, with 10 more damage and no cooldown at level 2 Searing Arrows. This would just be overkill.

The current Searing Arrows is already an excellent skill. There was a time when I thought it was the worst arrow effect (Frost Arrows, Poison Attack, Impetus, etc.) in the game but now it's one of the best. It's cheap, it gives high damage and can be abused very early in the game now. I don't believe Searing Arrows needs any more buffs.

Wind Walk: Buffing WW just for the sake of it. I don't see how this is justified as the cooldown is already low enough.

Death Pact: I like the concept behind this remake. Kind of a mix between Death Pact, Morph's Replicate and Abbadon's Borrowed Time. Might be too strong in some circumstances i.e. tag high health neutrals and go gank, knowing you have a 500-1000-1500 heal in your pocket. It's use on lane creeps is ineffective if the tagged creep takes damage and most of the time you want to Death Pact the ghouls / treants.


Overall I think the remake concepts are interesting, but not a good fit for Clinkz. There are far too many buffs in here as well, considering how many buffs he's received already. Focus on one skill to rework IMO.
